Faithleaf padded up to the pile of fresh kill. Things had been very quiet around the ShadowClan camp for over a moon. Things were strange, barely a bellyache in days. That was the most action that the apprentice medicine cat had seen in a long while. She chose a plump mouse for herself and settled down in the shade to eat her fresh-kill. She was lonely, seeing as Iceflower had been terribly quite to her lately. She sighed.

"Oh, StarClan, what is happening with the forest? It is too quiet, I fear for us all," She whispered to herself, hoping no one had heard her.

His brown eyes stared at nothing in specific, they were just looking ahead of him. A red ant crawled upon his ear, and Darksoul twitched it for the little insect to fall of. But it didn't, instead it clung on and bit him powerfully. The tom, who was half-awake, half-entranced, let out at screech of pain as he ran his paws over his right ear, trying to sooth the sudden pain.

She knew that it was her job as an apprentice medicine cat to tend to the injured of the clan, and she couldn't let one of their warriors be in pain.
