She knew that Blackfrost could have done something to help ShadowClan if she had wanted. "Starshower will come too. She has no where to go, and has helped me greatly today. She has lost everything. Her brother," Faithleaf motioned to a dark tom that lay motionless, "is dead."

Scorchpaw immediately jumped to her paws. "I'm coming too!" Although she considered Jadeeyes a true warrior of ShadowClan, Fernstar needed to hear opinions from both ranks: apprentice and warrior.

Dancingwind fell instep behind the apprentice, she had as much right to speak with Fernstar as anyone. Her sister was dangerous and she could give details on her sisters past life, in there old clan. She was interested to hear what her leader had to say about her. Her heart felt as heavy as her paws steps as she padded toward the leaders den with Jadeeyes and Scorchpaw.
