What I can do so far

NO, this is not a shop. Please don't ask for anything, cause you won't want to. I made this thread to show what I can do using Paint.net so far, and I need some of the really good people (hint: Rain, Fern, Silverpool, etc) to help me, even if they don't use Paint.NET.

Well, after i resized it, I picked a color and use the gradient tool. Then, when I make a second layer and have the cat picture in the right spot, I flatten them and then right everything out.

and wow, how did u mix the colors?!

Well, the fading is actually one of the blurs. You take the magic wand and kinda draw over the place you want for the blur, then click effects and find the gossian (sp?) blur and pick the intensity level. Colors, that's what the gradient tool just does.
