Moonfrost lay in the warrior's den. the sky shown it was sunhigh, and the trees leaves were glowing. Moonfrost sat up and padded over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a fat vole.

"Why cant i just go out and hunt somewhere?" Growled Feathertail as she walked over to the fresh kill pile. "What am i a prisoner?!" She had been defined to camp when they had caught her sneaking out of the back of the nursery. "I should just leave right now...."

"I cant...i might hurt the kits...." she growled. "I have to stay in camp like a trapped mouse." Feathertail narrowed her eyes. "Everyone is keeping an eye on me since the day i tried to get some fresh air." The queen looked at her stomach. "You guys better be worth it...."

"I dont know.." She looked around camp to see in anyone was there. "I suppose it's okay and i could use a nice long drink from the river...but i dont want to get you in trouble." Feathertail looked at Moonfrost.

"It's ok, I think you really need to get out of here for a short time, and besides, its good if you get your legs moving occationally. Come on, Feathertail." said Moonfrost padding towards the enterance of the camp.

Feathertail followed the she-cat out of camp. It felt good to feel the leaf's under her paws again. "So where shall we go?" She wanted to go anywhere except camp.

Feathertail followed the warrior to the stream. Once they reached their destination she took a long drink from the stream. She gently walked into it to cool herself down.

"Do you feel better?" asked Moonfrost in a calm voice. Then she spotted a mouse in the grass. Moonfrost went into the hunting crouch and crept slowly towards it. Then she pounced, and killed the mouse with a swipe of unsheathed claws. Moonfrost put the mouse down. "Here, eat this before we get back," she said.

Feathertail looked at the mouse but pushed it away. "No i will wait." She looked back at the mouse. She was hungry but wanted to feel like a warrior not a soft mouth to feed.
