Tali jumped from her tree-nest and sat down, grooming off any stray grass. She shook herself then headed for the stream that borders WindClan and ThunderClan. She enjoyed her life as a loner, but she didn't know if ThunderClan knew about her. "What would they say?" she muttered. She walked and then noticed a steep cliff. She fell down the slop."YAWW!" She yowled. Then she looked around. Someone heared her and was coming.

Closer…closer…The mouse was just within her reach, she could hear its tiny whisper. Her muscles bunched as she made for the kill but suddenly a shrill cry broke the tense silence, making Thornpaw look up. She scowled in fury as she realized the mouse had heard it to and had begun to scramble away. She leaped up hissing with fury but was to late, the mouse had eluded her, safe in his den. She yowled and began to trudge up the slope to investigate the noise. “Another hunt down the drain,” she grumbled, “honestly no respect!” She reached a cliff and careful not to slip she peered down. A cat? Yes a cat, though she did not smell like one. She leaned in for a closer look but found herself falling head over heels down the slick cliff colliding with the cat. She hissed at her clumsiness and straightened herself up. She then caught sight of the cat and eyed her with curiosity, mewing casually, “And who might you be?”

Tali stummbled by the abrupt impacted. She silently muttered at what the cat asked then looked around. It was a cat that looked her age. "Well, My name is Tali..." she murmured, then she reconised the sent. "You're a ThunderClan Cat!"

“Of course I’m a Thunderclan cat!” She retorted, shaking her pelt free of leaves she had collected during the fall. “And you don’t smell like any clan I’ve ever smelled, where do you come from?” She questioned her relentlessly, her piercing green eyes examining the she cat from nose to tail. Another Thunderclan recruit maybe? She thought eagerly.

"Well, nice to meet you, too." Tali retorted. "I'm a loner, if you don't mind." She mewed with a sour voice. She shook herself and then beckoned with her tail, looking back at the Thunderclanner with a much softer gaze. "Follow, I'll explain."

Thornpaw took a moment to look the cat over then reluctantly began to follow the loner. What am I getting myself into? She questioned herself but her paws kept moving forward. She took a moment to examine their surroundings. Sunlight dappled the forest from the trees above,. A faint Windclan scent drifted from the border, but it was stale. She quickened her pace so she walked next to the cat, flicking her tail at a butterfly flitting its was across the trail. “Uh, where exactly are we going?’ She mewed, though she didn’t care for an answer, it was good to be doing things on her own lately and she liked the company of this spirited she-cat.

Tali just kept walking. She glanced up at the canopy and then sighed in joy. She was leading this cat into her home, and she was afraid that it might be a mistake. She kept walking, casually, no rush involved. They past alot of land, and it was getting dark. Just then, they stopped abruptly. Both glancing down, it was a very steep crevis in the ground, with what apeared to be a den on the cliff, a place to dry you fur, and also some protection with brambles. It seemed to be like a hole, dug out from a paw. Tali slid down the slop with ease then called back. "Thunderclanner, come on, it's not a trap."

Thornpaw eyed the den with suspicion, but swallowed her fear and entered the cave. She was engulfed by darkness, her green eyes scanned the room making out tali’s brilliant eyes in the dark. She kneaded her claws in the ground, letting her eyes adjust to the piercing darkness. “where are we?” She asked with an edge in her voice, “What was it you were going to tell me?” Soon she could see in the cave as her eyes adjusted. Every detail was hers as if it were sunshine. She could make out Tali’s lithe body against the dark and Thornpaw sat down casually licking her paw. “Well?”

Tali sat down and took a deep breath. "You want to know why I'm here, right?" She didn't need an answer. "I lived her all my life, watching the clans from the shadows, but I didn't end up here with a happy story." She curled her tail around her paws an glanced around the room, nervous. "I was born by the she-cat Hazelface, in the clan DarkClan, but, the leader, Bloodyheart, didn't want me..." She trailed off with sorrow. "I was only a kit, barley a moon, and he dropped me off, and I sat there, watching my mom just walk away." She swallowed and the glanced around again. "I- I've been here ever since."

Thornpaw’s eyes softened as she gazed at Tali with utmost respect. She had not the chance to meet her mother also, she died at birth. Thornpaw grimaced, it was her fault, her life had ended her mothers. She remembered her father. Always saying, with death must also come life. As a kit she did not understand, though now she did. Her eyes flicked to her paws, but could not help a smile. Tali and her were alike in that way. “I was a loner once.” She said suddenly. “I left, my clan was in chaos…I couldn’t stay.” She sighed, surprised she felt so comfortable with this cat. “I had to fight to survive, and It made me strong. During my wandering I learned many things, but then I stumbled upon Thunderclan.” She flexed her claws, biting back sorrow. “Would you like to go hunting?” Changing the subject, and anything to get out of the dark tunnel. Her green eyes watched Tali, bright and curious.
