Thornpaw lay stretched on the ground close to the apprentices den. Her tail curled and uncurled sweeping the leaves across the ground. A purr of content rumbled from her chest as the sun shone through the trees warming her pelt and casting shadows from the cloudless sky. She hauled her self to her paws letting a yawn escape her gaping jaws. She sat herself down on the warm ground and gave her paws a quick lick before setting of in search of something to do.
Yeah...post if you want, just trying to start something active in thunderclan'n stuff.

It was Shiningstream that spotted her apprentice first. The tortoiseshell mentor began to purr with amusement for Thornpaw's enthusiasm. She is just just like me, never ready to sit down and go to sleep. If Thornpaw wanted something to do, then maybe it was time for her to learn that to carry the name of a warrior, she would have to learn a crucial part in her training. "Thornpaw!" Shiningstream called eagerly. "Come here!"

Thornpaws head jerked up at the familiar voice. Her eyes wandered The sunlit clearing until she found Shinningstream, her mentor, calling her name. She readily bound over to the tortoiseshell warrior her eyes dancing. "Hi Shinningstream!" She mewed eagerly. She sat herself in front of her mentor her tail lashing in anticipation.

A mottled white young warrior watched from affar, his deep blue gaze followed the apprentice. He decided to approach--timidly as he always was, especially in front of she-cats-- "Hello Thornpaw." He meowed with a cheery hopeful voice, and then with a quick glance at the warrior he dipped his head and murmured, "Shiningstream.. eh.. hi."

Thornpaw turned to meet Stormfrost’s welcoming eyes. “Morning Stormfrost, isn’t it a glorious day?” She laughed, feeling life pulse through her. She shook her dappled pelt and swatted her tail at a butterfly flitting past her head, is molted colors dancing off the light. “Shinningstream and I were just going for a training session.” She said with giddy enthusiasm. Though she realized her behavior and tucked it into the confines to her thoughts, taking on a better posture turning her attention back to Shinningstream, but not without quickly flicking her tail over Stormfrost’s back affectionately.

Shiningstream ears flicked down a bit at Stormfrost's little enthusiasm for her, but it didn't matter. "You're a young warrior, as am I, but if you ever have an apprentice, why not join us?" Turning to the apprentice, she mewed warmly, "Of all warrior training, the most prominant part is something called battle training."

"Yes, nice day." Stormfrost meowed dreamily. He stared at the dazzling apprentice and at the touch of her tail over his back he shuddered, "Oh training, I bet you will be a worthy warriors some day." He meowed plainly; embarrassment at how he paid too much attention to her, he found it hard but his deep blue eyes left the apprentice and directed to the young warrior, he hesitated at her question but then meowed, "Sure, I would like to accompany you two." He felt hot under his fur, "Had she noticed?" He thought uncomfortably.

Shivers ran down her spine. Battle training? Oh, she was going to enjoy this. She flashes a brilliant smile to the two cats, unable to contain her enthusiasm. Her tail twitched slightly, inpatients coursing through her. “Are we to go then?” She mewed finally, taking a stride for ward. Head strong? Tell me about it… As she passes Stormfrost she touches him ever so lightly, like a temptress luring him in. Then shes gone, in a flash, her dappled fur a blur of mischief and mystery. She rather enjoyed the feeling.

Shiningstream gave a little purr of delight, then padded out to the edge of the clearing where she sat down authoritive-like. She was still so excited on getting her first apprentice! And, now it was battle training time! "All right, Thornpaw," Shiningstream mewed, "Show me what you know of a defensive crouch."

The young warrior was tempted to follow, but he knew how disrespectful it would look-- especially in front of Thornpaw's mentor. He forced himself to stay firm on his ground and sat himself besides Shiningstream. He watched intently murmuring, "I would like to see that from her." while he tried to contain his laughter. He swept his tail across his muzzle as if to silence himself.
