A meeting of cats...

Hawkclaw rushed to her side and stroked her shoulder with his tail. Then he meowed tenderly," you can sit there and relaxe and wait for the pain to go away. Then when its alright with you we can head back to camp."

Rabbitpaw nodded, her eyes meeting Hawkclaw's and staying there. She smiled.

"Thanks."

Hawkclaw's eyes gleamed as Rabbitpaw's eyes and his locked. Then he smiled and said,"Any thing for you."

Falconflight watched them for a mement and then meowed teasingly," Alright you two love birds, well love 'cats',"

Shinypaw just stood there, not commenting in the things she was hearing. Just waiting to see if she could help on something.

Rabbitpaw looked at Falconflight with knitted eyebrows.

"Hawkclaw is my mentor, Falconflight."
She laid down in the grass, stretching out on her side, letting the sun warm her fur, and her green eyes were sparkling again.

"If being hurt means I get to lay in the sun for a little while and let the breeze ruffle my fur, then I guess its not as bad as I thought. Even if it does hurt,"
she added as an afterthought.

Hawkclaw laid down near his apprentice, giving her space to strech her injured limbs. He sometimes looked over to see if she was all right. Ocasionaly Hawkclaw would glare at Falconflight even though what the other warrior said, Hawkclaw wanted it to be true.

Finally Falconflight hated the silence and relutantly said," Sorry Hawkclaw and Rabbitpaw." Then he muttered, " Ever though its true!"

Rabbitpaw sighed, her tail twitching in the warmth of sun-high. Her eyes fluttered closed, and she purred loudly. She moved her paws a little in the air, and they were still sore but not as much as they had been.

"Can we just stay here a while?"
she meowed.

"I mean, if you guys want you can leave, but it's so nice here. Would you kill me if I said I wanted to stay?"

Hawkclaw purred with humer in his vioce," We can stay here but why would we kill you?"

"Figure of speech,"
she meowed happily, her tail reaching to the sky then flopping to the ground continuously. She wore a smile, even with her eyes closed, and she purred in content. The sun made her fur glow, and the illumination made her look like she had fallen from Starclan.

Hawkclaw looked softly at the beautiful she-cat apprentice laying next to him.

Rabbitpaw felt eyes on her and opened hers, her emerald eyes meeting Hawkclaw's. She smiled at him, and started to raise up.

"Alright then, back to camp,"
she meowed determinedly. She managed to stand on her feet and take a few steps without any problems, so she continued to walk a few more steps before looking back at Hawkclaw and arching her brows in question.

Hawkclaw stood there watchind her for a second whit his moyth open. Then he rushed to Rabbitpaw's side for balance and just incase she fell. His eyes lit up at the thought of Rabbitpaw being ok. Then the started to head back to camp.

Rabbitpaw managed to make it back to camp only limping slightly. Once she was safely inside the camp, she plopped down and stretched out, panting. She let the sun warm the sweat off of her fur, and closed her eyes, swallowing deeply.

Hawkclaw leaned down and quietly meowed in to her ear, "Do you want me to fetch the medicine cat."

She shook her head, and strecthed out more.

"Nah. I'm alright. Just a little stiff. I'll be alright."
She opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Thanks, Hawkclaw. You were a big help out there. It should've been the other way around:me helping you with something. I'm sorry I messed it up."
She gave him a small, embarrassed smile.
