Walk and Talk

The moon was up and Hawkclaw could see silver pelt all around him. Hawkclaw was on moonlight every where he stepped. Hawkclaw headed out of camp. He lit out a heavy sigh even though he did not do much today. A snap of a twig made Hawkclaw's heat jump. His head spun around as quick as a flash and he didn't see any thing or any one. I'm just dreaming, he said to himself. But who knows if he is right or wrong,................................................................

Rabbitpaw stepped out from behind a thick bush, blushing furiously although she hoped he couldn't see it in the darkness. She padded over to him, standing close enough that their pelts touched and their breath mingles as she spoke.

"Hey. I saw you leaving and you looked so deep in thought. I couldn't resist following. I'm sorry."
She looked into his eyes and loved how they shined like the stars above her. She felt her heart flutter and wondered when she had fallen so deeply in love.

Hawkclaw's belt began to bristle when some cat stepped out of hiding. Then he relized that it was his mate rabbitpaw. His fur finally began to lay back down eccept not as neat. Hawkclaw's eyes lit up when he saw her in the moonlight. Then he stutered," I-It is-s o-ok."

She smiled at his sturttering, holding back an adoring laugh. She yanwed before turning shy eyes back to him.

"So, what were you thinking about?"
she pressed, wondering if he shared the same thoughts she did.

" "Well,..... I can't wait till your a warrior." Hawkclaw meowed embarased. Then he meowed with out stutering this time," you the most beautiful cat i've ever seen." Then he started to lay down in the monlight.

Rabbitpaw laid down beside him, a confused look on her face.

"Thanks. And what do you mean?"
She licked his fur in comfort as she leaned on him, making sure to keep her ear close to his mouth so she could hear him.

Hawkclaw looked at her pleadingly," well,.... you know," Hawkclaw started. Then he continued," When you are a warrior, we can have a life together with out hiding any thing. We can have kits and spend more time together, and you know,...." Hawkclaw trailed of to see if she followed this.

Rabbitpaw laughed at his nervousness on the subject. "Ya, I know." she meowed quietly. "Rainstar said she could make me a warrior really soon..." She turned deep green eyes to him. "But I don't want to wait either." She licked his cheek softly.

Hawkclaw kind of chuckled at his own nervousness. Then he turned his head towards Rabbitpaw. Soon their eyes locked. Hawkclaw leaned over and gave Rabbitpaw a couple loving licks on her forehead. "I love you," Hawkclaw murmerd.

Rabbitpaw's breath caught in her throat as she thought of what had happened the last time she had been told that, but she quickly pushed the thought aside and smiled, returning the licks.
"I love you to..." she meowed quietly.

Hawkclaw noticed that Rabbitpaw was sad. He quickly meowed," I'm so sorry, did I upset you?" Hawkclaw put his tail confertingly on her shoulder. Waiting....... and Waiting

Rabbitpaw shook her head. "No...not at all." She smiled to relieve any questions as she leaned against him, head on his paws.

"Oh o.k that is good," Hawkclaw meowed questioningly. Soon he started to purr and drift to sleep.
(Do u want some one to catch them and wake them or get them in trouble? I dont know why i thought of it, mabey cause it would be different)

Rabbitpaw laid down her head, closing her eyes and falling asleep quickly to the deep, even breaths of Hawkclaw.

Hawkclaw rolled on to his back. Suddenly he started to paw the air with quick jabs as if he were fighting somebody in his sleep.
