"Yes, Fernstar." For the first time, Scorchpaw boldly walked up to stand in front of her leader. She had been sitting in the back, completely appalled by her leader's decision, but decided now was the best time to speak up about her misgivings. "I... I know only my mentor can tell you this but... I think I'm ready to be a warrior." Embarressment flooded her expressions, and she turned to JadeEyes and Dancingwind for support.

Jadeeyes stepped forward. "Its true, she fought well today in this battle. I agree with her opinion and will agree with your opinion, whatever it is," JadeEyes said calmly," but please consider my input." she swiftly added.

Fernstar narrowed her eyes. "That is true," she agreed. "But warriors do not confront their leaders in such a way. This was very brave, but if I am to make you a warrior, you musn't bring such an important idea up without anything to support it. Is she ready?" she asked the warriors.

Faithleaf debated on whether to protest or not, but decided against it. There was no point in arguing with Fernstar at this point. She quietly sighed. Blackfrost was now a member of ShadowClan. This could only add to their troubles. Nothing good would ever come from her. But atleast Starshower was accepted graciously by Jadeeyes. Faithleaf admired her greatly and longed to become greater than her, but her place of training was with her herbs and dreams. She would surely surpass the great warrior in her own areas and strengths.
