Petalkit walked around the nursery, feeling quiet lonely. Wish there's someone to talk to. She settled down and waited for something to happen.

Crystalkit came into view and she paced herself next to the den-mate. "Hello," she tried not to be shy as she always was after, that day.

Petalkit looked at her company. "Hi Crystalkit! Good to see you!" Petalkit purred loudly. How great! Someone to talk to at last!

Crystalkit smiled warmly as she got closer. "What have you been doing, Petalkit?" Her dapple tail flickered in delight with talking to someone.

Petalkit smiled. "Nothing much. It's been boring these days", she sighed. "But, I'm glad you're around to be with", she purred and gave her friend a friendly lick.

Crystalkit giggled at the lick. "That tickles!" Crystalkit lashed out a playful paw, trying to hit her target.

Petalkit managed to avoid her hit. "Hey, no hitting!", she laughed. Quietly, she pounced at Cystalkit and tickled her.

Crystalkit bellowed. "Not the tail!" She nipped at Petalkit's ear and continued to fight back.

Autumnkit awakened from her spot snuggled under her mother's dazzling white fur and crawled out slowly. She yawned, stretching out tired muscles and blinking sleep from her wide eyes as the sun's rays hit her. She shook her fur of its matted sleepiness and padded over slowly to where the kits played. She yawned before she spoke.
"Do you think I could play with you guys?"
she asked, her voice kind but shy. |

Petalkit stopped and looked at the kit smilingly. "Would we ever say no? Of course you can!", she purred.

Autumnkit smiled, relaxing as she ran over to them.
"What are we playing?"
she asked, crouching down and sticking her tail up in the air. |

Crystalkit let go of Petalkit's ear and went next to Autumnkit. "We're playing 'Badger Attack'!" She lashed out a paw infront of her new playmate's face with a 'gawr', acting like she was a badger.

Autumnkit laughed, ducking as the paw flew toward her and retaliating by sending a paw toward her friend as well. |
