Palefoot carried the tiny orange kit into the RiverClan nursery. She set him down in a pile of moss bedding. "This is where you will stay from now on. I'll be right back." She rushed off to find a medicince cat and a queen who could take care of him.

"Looks like for now, I'll be taking care of you. Did your mother name you?" Palefoot asked her new friend. She knew that all of the queens were busy, and this kit was old enough to eat fresh kill. He was now her responsibility.

Palefoot made her way into the nursery once more, carrying the other tiny kit. She set her down next to Firekit. "You must be starving! Hold on, I'll get you two a mouse to share." She came back carrying a fat mouse. She set it down in front of the kits.

Palefoot watched to two siblings closely. She was the only one left in her family. Her only brother was in StarClan. She missed him greatly. She was falling for these kits. She wanted them to be safe and happy.

firekit started to eating with his sister dragonkit after eating he looked at palefoot"thank you for finding me and my sister "he purred looking at dragonkit than at palefoot "hey dragonkit why do you think mom let us go"firekit asked looking at dragonkit
"i do not know why but it had to be for are on good"she said licking firekit on the head"think you palefoot for finding us .dragonkit purred

Palefoot felt like she'd done the right thing, bringing the kits to RiverClan. She quietly exited the nursery to get back to things that needed to be done as the RiverClan Deputy.
