As ive just witnessed. Pure was hacked. If we dont take action it will happen again. But with someone more important suchas an admin. So i suggest everyone change their password a.s.a.p. and dont tell anyone.

Technically, she wasn't hacked. She was just impersonated. And that happened on the c-box. Anybody could do that. You just change your name and post by that new name on the c-box. And I haven't seen hacking on the site...

We've had plenty of people threaten to hack the site. No one has ever actually done it, though.

Ive been hacked before on a site like this. And they tried tochange my password and everything so i couldnt get in...

Wait, hold the phone... Sorry, I've wanted to use that for a while. Anyways, they really CAN'T change your password unless they verify it by your email... So technically, no one CAN hack your account / AIM account unless they hack your email as well. And yes, Whitepaw... Eh. Be lucky you weren't here for that. Lastly, the C-Box allows you to type in any name, so you could be easily impersonated.

On AIM yes you can. If you go to file it says, Change Password. Its just a click away if you know the password then you can. Or you can reset it. I sware I didnt change it myself.  |
