Another meeting....

A slender figure padded up behind Lightningstorm, and whispered in the tom's ear. "What are you doing so close to Thunderclan, my dear?" A feminine voice meowed, her brown eyes looking at the tom, and her ginger tail moving behind her. "Looking for me?"

Lightningstorm whipped around to see a shadow. He really couldnt reconize who it was. But just in case he acted as if he didnt know what she was doing. "I was just marking my clans terrtory." He narrowed his eyes and growled. His mind was racing and his heart thumping.

The ginger she-cat laughed. "Yeah..right... you were looking for me, weren't you?" She wiped her tail over his face. "Lightningsotrm, can't you see? It's me, Daylight.." She padded under a ray of sun, so now the tom could distinguish her. Her browne eyes flicked from the tom's face to the clan border, and her ginger pelt swished in the light breeze.

"Oh...it is you..." He sighed with relief. "Well i couldnt smell your sweet scent...i got in trouble and had to do elder duty...which includs getting rid of ticks...." Lightningstorm wrapped his tail around hers. "Why were you out here? We wernt suppose to meet until tommorrow." His amber eyes glittered in the sun. He couldnt stop staring at her in sheer awe.

"I wanted to pad around for a while.." Daylight answered, her eyes now questioning. "What were you doing here if we weren't supposed to meet today? eh?" She meowed, looking straight into the tom's eyes. Grapping her ginger tail around her paws, Daylight sat down, her ears flicking in every direction, alert if someone was coming... "So?" She meowed.

Lightningstorm knew the question was coming. "I just....was.....ummm..." His mind whirled as he looked for the right words. "I was just marking terretory...but while i was i justwanted to see if you were here so i called you name." He looked down at his paws shuffling the dirt.

"I see..." Daylight meowed, rufflying under Lightnindstorm's neck. "I have something to tell you.." She said, her brown eyes looking into his, afraid, excited, happy. Her pelt ruffled, and her heart thumped. "Remember you wanted to have kits with me?" ............................................................

"Ummmm.....yes? Is something wrong?" His voice quivered with excitment and fear. Lightningstorm had no idea what else to say.

"No, there's nothing wrong, actually is quite good. Well, just for you and me." Daylight meowed, blushing. "Lightningstorm, guess what....?" She took a deep breath to calm down and then continued. "I-I'm p-pregnant..!" She said, smiling thoughblushing deeply. Daylight was shiering, she didn't know how Lightningstorm would react, or what would she do if her clan found out.

Lightningstorm stood there. A bright warm feeling swelled inside him. "Are you serious?! This is great!!!! Does anyone else know? Are you sure? How many?" He bursted out with questions.

Daylight laughed, "No, no one else knows. And I still don't know how many they are, but I'm sure it will be more than two." She smiled, almost jumping from joy. "But..." She added, now looking sad. "how are we going to hide them?"

"Hmmmm......try not to go on hunting patrols first of all....dont go near the medicine cat....and youll be fine....." He licked her cheeck. "It'll be alright.."

Daylight sat down, curling her ginger tail around her paws. "I guess so..." She meowed, she looked up at the sky, Starclan, I know this mating with another clan cat is againts the rules, but please, protect our kits... She prayed, in her mind. Her brown eyes switched to Lightningstorm, "And now what?" Daylight asked, hearing a weird noice above her, in one of the trees.

"Just....try to be yourself...dont act strange at all....i will take as many patrol as i possibly can around here okay...?" Lightningstorm paused for a moment. "There is one other plan though....you can go in the nursery and become a queen...but just tell them the father doesnt want his name out." His amber eyes flickered at the ground. "But...i wont get to see you as often....and i wont get to see my kits...."

Daylight looked at Lightningstorm, "No, I don't want to be a Queen, I don't like being in one place all the time.." She meowed, "I'll just come around sometime, and if anyone asks why I am getting fatter I'll say I'm eating too much.." She started laughing at this, till her belly hurt. "I'll try to be around.. so I can see you..."
