"Are you okay Finch?" Shinypaw asked with concern, lifting her head from Finchpaw's shoulder. "You seem somewhat troubled." She curled her fluffy, golden tail around Finchpaw's. "Has it got something to do with me?" She asked, resting her head again on the apprentice's shoulder.

"Me? Concerned? No!" Finchpaw meowed in a mocking tone. "Please, no way, nothing to do with you, or that feeling I have when I see you, or-" the ginger tom halted. He had spoken too much and crossed the limit, as usual. Gulping, he chuckled innocently. "Of course, nothing to do with that cause I'm not feeling anything in particular, I mean, why would I? Yeah, your pretty, but why would somebody like me fall in love? Please!" he lied. Anxiously, he rosed his tail by his mouth, intending it to close. Why was it that everytime he was nervious he had to blurb all his thoughts out?! Why didn't he just shut up? Stupit me... Finchpaw thought and slapped his head.

Shinypaw glanced in disbelief at Finchpaw. "Feelings? Pretty? Love?" She repeated. Shinypaw turned Finchpaw's face towards her own and looked into his eyes. "Don't slap yourself." She scowled. "Even someone like you has the right to love, and I think you are sweet and nice." She smiled and continued, "You blurbed all out to me, don't feel ashamed. You are not the only one that feels that way here..." She hoped that the small tom had caught the meaning and feelings that her last words had.
((aww! Finch is cute!))

Finchpaw eyed Shinypaw with curiosity. "Do you like me too?" he asked slyly, stepping on a branch to approach nearer to the Windclanner.

Shinypaw's heart started beating faster and faster. "I-I...." She said, stumbling over the words. She sighed, trying to calm herself, and she continued. "I do like you, Finchpaw. I like your eyes, your sarcasm, your personality, I like, you." She finally confesed. "But," She added. "I am afraid that you don't feel the same way about me, as much as I do about you." Shinypaw stepped nearer the Riverclaner, looking into his eyes.
((so CURSI! XP))

Finchpaw nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'm sarcastic alright" he meowed, um, well sarcastically. He shaked his ginger head but then nodded to make Shinypaw understand he was feeling the same for her, but he was too shy to admit it. Suddenly, his ears perked when he heard a quaint below his paws. "Hey, how about a small hunting patrol?" the young apprentice suggested eagerly.

Shinypaw smiled, comprehending Finchpaw's head movement. "Sure, lets hunt!" She meowed excitedly. She jumped one branch below, sniffing the air. But the night was pitch-black, so she just fllowed the scent, until it guided her to a squierrel-burrow (<- invention!) "Finch!" She called, "Look what I found!"

Finchpaw purred. "Awsome! But I bet I can find something better..." he challenged and ran away, following the mouse's trail. Soon enough, he brought it back, a rabbit and a vole making him company.
((kk, lets skip the hunting part... i'm too lazy to describe how he hunted, so lets say they ended it and went back to their clans... i'll post when they meet again))

((oky dokey!))
The hunting night passed and Shinypaw bid good-bye to Finchpaw. ---------
Padding back to her camp, Shinypaw entered the apprentice'sden where she realized she was exhausted. Laying down on a moss-bed, Shinypaw went to sleep. Dreaming with the little tom she had just seen..

The radiant sun rays woke Finchpaw the next morning. He was exahusted after his date with Shinypaw, but that didn’t stop him from boanding up towards their border again. Gazing at the sky, the ginger tom noticed it was still dawn and it would take a couple of minutes before his clan woke up. Perfect opportunity... he thought mischivly and crossed the river once again. Suddenly, the young apprentice halted when he remembered his commitment with Shinypaw. “We will only meet at midnights...” the words rang in his mind. Finchpaw snarled at his foolishness and turned around to return to his camp. Apparently, he had been to anxious for his new date with the Windclan apprentice, and he had forgotten their plan. He dove in the river again, plead as the sun gracefully danced over his soaked pelt.

"Good Morining Finchpaw." A voice said from beind the small apprentice. Pureheart padded towards the tom, "I see you have woken early today." She said, warmly. "And what are you doing so close to the Windclan border with us?" She curiously eyed the apprentice, looking for answeres in his eyes. pureheart sat on the border of the river, her silver pelt shining with the first sun rays. ------- Shinypaw awoke late that morining. last night's adventure with Finchpaw had seriously left her exahusted. She yawned and streched, her leg boner cracking. She longeg for midnight again, but she had to wait. Shinypaw padded out of her den, happily padding around the camp, searching for something to keep her entertained..

"GAHH!!!" Finchpaw shrieked when he heard Pureheart's words. "What, what, what are you doing here?" he gasped in shook. The ginger tom backened away in fear, for Shinypaw would be in deep trouble if she was found in the Riverclan camp. He regained composture and elegantly rounded Pureheart with his gaze. "I was making sure no intruders were in our territory" the young apprentice meowed simply, covering his eyes with his paw, for he knew they always revealed his secrets.
"Shinypaw!" An ivory warrior exclaimed. Silversnow rose from the warrior's den with a warm smile. She padded towards Shinypaw and pressed her muzzle in the apprentice's flank in greet. * "What brings you to the Riverclan border?" the young queen asked warmly.
*=k, that * means that shinypaw magiclly appeared in the border, yey! sorry, powerplay, but it makes things faster, ya know...

Shinypaw gasped in horror as she saw the ivory Windclan queen aproach her. "I-I was patroling the border.." She sniffed the air. "Yup! No Riverclan cats here!" She lied, smiling innocently. ----- Pureheart glared at Finchpaw. "Finchpaw, I was your mentor once, remember? i know when you lie to me." She pushed Finchpaw's paw down. "And I know you weren't patrolin the border, c'me on, you know you can trust me.." Pureheart said.

Silversnow eyed Shinypaw with astonishment. “No, there are two Riverclanners here, they’re really near” she snapped in fury, for she despiced the onces that crossed their borders. Flicking her tail, she ventured Shinypaw to follow her into the border. “Come on, we need to see what’s going on” the snowy white she-cat urged.
Finchpaw sighed. He didn’t have another choise but confess. “I have a date with a Windclan apprentice...” he meowed, fidgedting his tail in disturb. “But its at midnight... I like her so much I found my self looking for her at dawn, but its obvious she won’t show up, for we planned to meet everyday at midnight, so...” Just hope she doesn’t show up...

Shinypaw nodded with fright at Silversnow. Let it not be Finchpaw that is there! She prayed to Starclan, but then, as they crossed the border she noticed Ficnhpaw talking to a silvery warrior. Finchpaw! ---- "A Windclanner? Finchpaw you know that is againts the rules." Pureheart scowled. "But, You have your rights to fall in love, and I think I have never seen you like this." She admited, and continued. "I want you to be happy, and I know you wont let this Windclanner just dissapear form your life. So.. I'll help you." She couldn't beilef her last words, but something told her she needed to help Finchpaw. Suddenly, a weird scent reached her nosetrills. Windclan! She jumped into the river and swam across, padding to the border where she noticed a small appentice and a white coated warrior. She looked back at the golden apprentice, This must be the one Finchpaw likes.. She told herself. --- Shinypaw gasped at the sight of the silver warrior glaring at Silversnow and her. She turned to Silversnow in fright, and whispered, "What are we going to do?"
