Silversnow narrowed her eyes. "Good evening Fireclaw" she meowed coldly. She slowly stood up and heaved a smile at Brightleaf. "Farewell" the white she-cat said and padded away. Between the shallows of the bushes, she spotted a ginger pelt. "Breezepaw?" Silversnow asked.

Breezepaw hesitated and then nodded. "It is just that I don't trust that cat.." She whispered directing her tail towards Fireclaw.

"Fireclaw?" Silversnow questioned. "What's wrong with him? After his stubborness of course..."

"Maybe I am just imagining it..." She murmured, and blushed under her fur, she was often lonely and spoke her thoughts outloud. Then this time she did turn to Silversnow, "I don't know I just feel something.. and it tells me not to trust him."

Silversnow scratched her ear. "I guess you're right... There's something in him that simply doesn't fit..." she perturbantly meowed. "We better return to the camp. He seems quite threatening when his angry and if he notices we're evasdropping on him, well, we'll get in trouble" the snowy white she-cat meowed simply.

Breezepaw gave a slight but resigned growl, "Warriors are warriors.." She murmured half to herself, "And I am just an apprentice." She thought. She padded after Silversnow and noticed her belly a bit bigger. "Who is the father?" She meowed suddenly with a slight grin.

Silversnow scrubbed her dawdling pace. "Of who?" she inquiered, lifting her eye-brow curiously at the apprentice.

"I may just be an apprentice," She meowed with surprise. "A lonely one..." She whispered. "But I know that you are expecting kits, Silversnow."

Fireclaw raised his massive paw and broght it down on the she-cats face. "Did you tell them?" he said evilly, hissing. "I will kill you if you did."

Up on the moors, the WindClan deputy stalked down to meet up with Silversnow and Breezepaw. Darkwing was in a particularly good mood today, with all the patrols well taken care of and getting over the shock of Lightningclaw's death. "Good day, you two," he called out, dropping the rabbit beside the she-cats. "Are any of you hungry? I've just been out on a- Hey, is that Brightleaf and Fireclaw?"

[Wolfsong]

"No! I would never tell. You of all cats would know. I was actually waiting for you when they showed up!" Brightleaf whispered, fear in her voice as she felt the claw strike, her mate had never hit her there before. Close but, "Not that you would care." She knew she'd pay for that remark, she made herself get ready for the blow, not daring scream with other cats so close.

Fireclaw dug his talon claws deep into her chin,"Next time, its the throat," he hissed.

Flamekit wandered out into the nursery and bumped into Silversnow."HIya" he said.

"Oh" Silversnow replied. "Oh, Fishwhisker is their father" she replied warmly. "Hello little cutey!" she meowed at Flamekit and licked his small head. "How has your day been?" Silversnow asked eagerly.

Darkwing ignored the kit, only dropping the rabbit by Silversnow's and Breezenight's paws. Instead, the deputy neutrally walked down the hill to where he spotted Fireclaw and Brightleaf, perplexity pricking at his pads. "Fireclaw?" the old deputy mewed. "Haven't I sent you on a patrol earlier?"
