Pureheart smiled as the apprentice chewed the Porrpy seeds. "There is a good girl. That will help you." She curled besides Brightpaw, lending her some of her body-warmth.

Sparklepaw smelled an unknown scent, and padded quietly over to where she saw Pureheart's pelt in the nursery. She saw the source of the smell, an apprentice from another clan. At first rage overcame her, but she quickly let it pass as she noticed the cat was injured. She hurried to Brightpaw's side. "Hi," she murmured quietly, not wanting to scare her. "I'm Sparklepaw." She laid down, glancing at both cats, not knowing if she was welcome here or not. She noticed the dried blood matting Brightpaw's fur and started licking her fur gently, not sure of the extent of her injuries. "Let me know if I hurt you," she told the apprentice before continuing her gentle licking.
