Gathering Rules Respect the other Clans; don't break the truce on this night while the moon is high. Anyone may attend, as long as their leader has already arrived.
Bramblestar crossed the fallen log, walking carefully so that she wouldn't slip off and fall into the cold water below. She shivered, thinking of the RiverClan cats swimming in this water. She was excited to be at the gathering, having not been at the last one. He sickness had prevented her from coming, and she had sent Bonefoot in her place. He had done well, and this made her proud. Taking a seat near a mulberry bush, she waited for the other Clans to arrive.Thistleclaw padded into the clearing behind his leader. He was excited for the gathering, and eager to see his friends from the other Clans. He always enjoyed hearing news from the other parts of the forest. By the way, I took this post from the last gathering we had. That one was a failure, so I didn't see a problem with re-using this.

Fernstar entered the clearing, her Clan behind her, and greeted the fellow leader. "Bramblestar! It's good to see you. How have ThunderClan been?"

Rainstar stepped out from the bushes. At once she saw the leader of Thunderclan she said. "Bramblestar, it is nice you see you."

"Fernstar, Rainstar," Bramblestar nodded her head in a gesture of respect to the two leaders. "My Clan has been well," she smiled at Fernstar, "I hope that WindClan and ShadowClan have been fine as well. How has the prey been running?" she asked her friends.

Jadeeyes entered the clearing, her paws stepping along the log. Soft grass cussioned her feet as she walked forwards, bowing her heads to the two leaders before walking away. She stopped at the edge of the clearing, sitting down.
Moondance walked forwards, her feet feeling along the ground. "Jadeeyes, how are you?" she asked, walking towards her. "How have you been?" she asked. Her white fur glistened in the moon.
Eagleclaw entered the clearing, his face in digust. He mumbled under his breath. Then he walked under the shade of a near by tree. There he layed, closing his eyes and listening to the murmur of the cats as they talked.

Quietly behind Rainfur, Ravenpelt shakes off the water from his pelt, which seemed to cling like ticks to an elder. Hope this Gathering keeps the peace by the will of StarClan he silently thinks to himself.
Seeing his leader approach the two other leaders, he quietly sits where he always has, near the small bushes on the leeward side of the island. He takes a glance at Fernstar. He still clings to the memory of his sister, who's name had been Fernpaw and identical to the ShadowClan leader. I wonder if I ever shall see her again.. he thinks to himself, silently mourning the death of his sister. Like a wave, he feels flows of tears for his kin.
Realizing where he was, he swats his paws at his eyes as if a fly were near his snout and sits down and watches the mingling cats. He wasn't a very social cat, even here at a time of peace.

Her paws stepped lightly on the dew covered earth, pausing only once to let the scents of the gathering sift its way towards her, drinking in the cool breath of night. The silver She-cat drifted confidently through the bushes, letting the leaves gently caress her silver pelt. The thicket opened up to a clearing, one she had been to for countless moons. Dancingwind’s green eyes searched the moon drenched clearing, trotting swiftly to the gathering place. It seemed the clans were still arriving, so she gave a small stretch and sat herself down, her eyes searching the dark, her shoulders high and reserved. A dignified beauty.
A red Windclan apprentice trotted his way into the clearing. He was a handsome cat, sleek red fur with defined muscle rolling silently beneath his pelt. Hawkpaw had always enjoyed gatherings, a time were the four clans sat in peace. He shook the dew from his pelt that had collected from his journey through the undergrowth, sending the silver droplets into the damp grass between his pads. Almost all of the clans had arrived, but he stood where he was on the edge of the clearing, his amber eyes the definition of intensity. He let the scents of the other clans drifted to him but one in particular he sought, but her sweet scent was not among them. His claws dug into the soft earth beneath him. He had made a promise many moons ago. A promise that gripped his heart day after day. Very soon now his apprenticeship would be over, yes, very soon now.
Thornpaw crashed through the undergrowth making her usually graceful entrance to the gathering. On the way to the meeting she had strayed to investigate and interesting smell, and now almost all of the clans had arrived! Her eyes searched for her mentor but fell upon their leader, Bramblestar. The Thunderclan leader had already made her way to the great rock and was deep in discussion with the leaders of the other clans. Bored, already, the tabby apprentice weaved her way through the lingering cats, the must be some mischief she could mix up here!

Nightclaw padded softly through the undergrowth until she came to the clearing. She breathed in, contented. Though she was a fierce warrior in battle, she rather liked meeting the other Clans in peace. She hoped to see some of her friends at the gathering, and scanned the clearing hoping to find the young apprentice, Pantherpaw, whom she had run into near the border a moon or two ago. He must be receiving his warrior name quite soon... the she-cat thought, remembering how big he had looked when she had run into him. The memory of his large paws made her chuckle slightly, bringing her thoughts back to the clearing. RiverClan's late. I wonder whats holding them...

Bonefoot was quick to take his respected position at the roots of the leader's tree, letting his white tail wrap contently around his paws. Of all days, Bonefoot felt he deserved to be proud of himself. Bramblestar had given him, him, of all cats the sole responsibility of taking care of her Clan while she was sick. Yes, the thought still surprised him. He was deputy, of course, but not necessarily the most compassionate of all cats. He nodded to the leaders once, but kept his face solemn and still as he observed the arriving cats.
Shiningstream balanced lightly on the branch behind Thistleclaw and Bonefoot, trying her best not to let her eyes stray to her friend. As much as Shiningstream loved being a warrior, losing less and less time to spend with her friends, especially Thistleclaw, made her feel lonely. Oh, buck up! she thought to herself firmly. No weepy buisness tonight. Impress Bramblestar. Tolerate Bonefoot. Besides, you still have Hawkmask and Thornpaw.
"Ah, Dancingwind," Darkwing, the WindClan deputy, greeted gently to the young ShadowClan warrior. His head tipped a little, an old, high-ranked cat acknowledging a younger warrior as such. Darkwing never knew her, but his good mood let him socialize briefly before sitting near the impassive ThunderClan deputy at the foot of the tree.
Scorchpaw tossed her head impatiently, her green eyes gleaming. That was unlike her. Usually, the ShadowClan apprentice would be bouncing around, trying to speak with every single cat her eyes lay upon and even keeping close with her mentor, Nettleclaw. But at the moment, none such. Scorchpaw was passed the age of an apprentice, and well passed the experience. She wanted, no, needed, to become an apprentice. She'd been patient, she'd be enthusiastic the entire time as well. But enough was enough.

Perhaps I could be more friendly Ravenpelt thought to himself. He hasn't been the same since his sister died, it seemed like the world became a large monster, out to stalk and kill him like prey. He spots a she-cat with a shinning silver pelt. I wonder if she minds if I sit next to her he thought again, heading towards the silver she-cat. His paws shaking because of nervousness, he didn't normally confront other cats. Much less a she-cat. He sat down, next to her, on the cold floor. "Dancingwind, isn't it? I'm Ravenpelt. I don't think we've met" Ravenpelt's eyes gleaming from the water's reflection, anxiously waiting a reply.

"ThunderClan is strong, and I expect to make warriors of some our apprentices soon," replied Bramblestar. Like all leaders, she would never have admitted if her Clan was weak. However, she had nothing to hide at this gathering. She looked over at her deputy, Bonefoot, sitting by the roots of the Great Oak. She looked at him, imagining how he would lead ThunderClan if anything ever happened to her. Turning, she spoke to Rainstar. "How is WindClan?" she asked.
OOC: Sorry if I'm not posting very often. I've got tons of homework, and I'm working on going on the internet less (I don't want to get too distracted).

The silver cat sat patiently, flexing her claws. Cats moved around her, talking and laughing. She heard her name. Her ears flicked forward in a welcome to the great cat who had mewed a greeting. Darkwing, Windclan’s Deputy. She smiled. Her eyes burned with respect for the higher-ranking warrior as she watched him climb the tree nimbly to sit on the branches that cowered before the full moon gathering. Dancingwind let the breeze sway her body. A rhythm, pounding. For the moment she let the sounds of the gathering wash away and let the breeze construct its symphony around her. A cat spoke. Dancingwind let her eyes wander open to find another Windclan cat sitting casually next to her, though he looked a bit nervous. “Hello.” Dancingwind purred in warm greeting. “Nice to meet you Ravenpelt, its true, I have never seen you before.” She let her eyes guide her around his form. A handsome cat, black fur rippled over his body but a small patch of white on his tail. “How is Windclan doing?” The young Shadowclan she-cat asked the raven colored cat. She smiled, her green eyes alight.
Thornpaw flicked her ears in disinterest. The young cat itched restlessly below the great tree, denying the moonlight full control of the clearing. She peered through the branches, letting the moonlight seep through. She shivered. Her eyes searched the gathering, letting them come to rest on her mentor Shinningstream. Her insides warmed. Respect burned within her, but the look on her mentor’s face disturbed Thornpaw. She looked… sad. Well we can have that! Thornpaw began to weave her way quickly through the cats, the base of the tree loomed before her. She easily dodged Bonefoot, Thunderclan’s Deputy, his wrath she did not need right now, but it was sort of fun to test his nerves, though there were few. She gave a crooked smile. “Shinningstream?” She apprentice mewed softly. She didn’t know if she was allowed here right now but she really didn’t care. She rubbed herself up against the tortoise shell warrior and purred quietly.

Jadeeyes watched the animals move about, laughing chatting away as she awaited a more friendly cat to apprach her and chat. Jadeeyes was getting a tad bit worried as she hadn't seen her mate for a long while... but she would stay cool and collected as usual, do her job, and get whatever is needed done. That was for sure.
Moondance's snowy pelt lazed out in the sun, her pale pink tongue flicking out to lick her chops lazily. She didn't need to be alert for the gathering's peace held her in tact. She almost fell into a rest, but her head snapped forwards, feeling someone dark enter....
Eagelclaw laied on the edge of the clearing, oblivious. His eyes flicked about him, his angered look still present on his black face. Eagleclaw... he was.... welll.... mean.

Darkpaw sighed. He didn't really enjoy gatherings, they were pathetic. The treaty, what a joke. But, he had to attend when he was asked to, he had to show loyalty to the stars and his leader.
Turning his dark colored head over, he licked the ears of his grand mother, Nightfur.
"Why haven't you said anythin'?"
Darkpaw just shrugged, lying in a keen way. "I don't know, just tired I guess."
