Swiftcloud glanced around quickly, darting her eyes back and forth and flicking her tail. She laid down in the middle of the camp and kept her eyes on the nursery. She hoped to have kits of her own one day if she could find the right male. She sighed and wondered what the night would bring.

A dark feline was lurking between the shadows of the night as he wondered weak and weary back to the Thunderclan camp. The moon’s light shone over Thornshadow’s handsome shadowy coat after he emerged from the darkness to face his dear clan deeply asleep. The young warrior spotted Swiftcloud was the only one awake and steathly padded towards her. “Good everning” he meowed in his icy cold voice. He heaved a long yawn below his breath for it had been a long hunting patrol. His gaze shifted from the warriors’ den and eventually to Swiftcloud.
((Hope you don’t mind I joined ^^))

Swiftcloud jumped as Thornshadow's voice traveled to her. "It is nice out." she meowed to him, tail twitching uneasily. She stretched her back out and yawned.

"Indeed" Thornshadow agreed. He stepped on foward until his gaze meet Swiftcloud's. The dark tom sat down, wrapping his tail tightly around his paws. "Mind if I give you some company? I'm tired but I'm not ready to sleep. And I usually like to lurk between the shadows of the night." he meowed apprehensivly and timidly, for he was usually bashful with others, specially she-cats.

Swiftcloud gave the nervous tom a smile. "Go ahead," she meowed. Then she sighed and turned her gaze to Starclan. "Its so beautiful out tonight."

Thornshadow purred in agreement. "Its nice to see how they watch us" he meowed, flicking his tail towards the beaming stars over his beautiful amber eyes. He grinned, half to himself and half to Swiftclout. "I wonder how live its up there" he meowed slyly, his gaze on the stars avobe him.

"We'll both find out one day," she meowed in awe. "It amazes me." She heard a meow come from the nursery before the kit was shushed by its mother, and she sighed. She turned to Thornshadow. "Sometimes it's hard being a warrior. But it's all worth it in the end. Right?"

Thornshadow gave a curt but clueless nod. "I hope. At least, if you die, you'll do it in the protection of your clan to proove everybody that doubted about your loyalty... Apparently" he meowed then glanced side ways. "But I'm still to young to know about it" the shadowy tom mumbled below his breath.

Swiftcloud rubbed her furry head against his in a gesture of comfort. "You're just as loyal as I am, or any other cat," she murmered. She let her tail sweep against his shoulder as she walked past him. "G'night." Her blue eyes shined in the darkness as she blinked at him before heading to the warriors den and sleeping in a far corner.

Thornshadow blushed below his coat, for he was usually very shy towards she-cats and he was more astonished after the gestures Swiftcloud had performed. He heaved a silent yawn and slowly followed the she-cat to the warriors' den, where he found a cozy spot reserved specially for him in the shadows. He curled into a little furball, the moonlight's rays gleaming over his navy coat. "Night" the dark tom meowed at Swiftcloud before doozing off.

Swiftcloud slunk out of the warrior's den, squinting her eyes against the bright morning sun. Her fur shone damply, indicating it was freshly washed. She shook slightly to try and rid herself from the clinging drowsiness. She padded forward slowly, grabbing a drink from a small pool that had formed from the rainwater. She stretched, yawning and ridding herself of the last remnants of sleep.
