Thistleclaw came out of the warriors den, blinking in the bright morning sunlight. He stretched his claw and headed over to the fresh kill pile. Great StarClan am I hungy! he thought to himself. Picking a vole out of the pile, he settled down to eat.

"Good Morning Thistleclaw." Stormfrost meowed to his clanmate, giving a curt respectful nod. "Prey is plentiful this new-leaf.." He noted, giving a bite off a starling.

Ashpaw continued to groom herself as she wached thistelclaw walk. but the she had an I dea. very slowly she droped into her much improved hunters crouched and stalked quietly twords him. she froze when she neared, and with a loud yowl "suprise!" she bowled into him with a triumphant cry.

Thistleclaw gave a surprised yowl. He kicked at the air, and then he noticed who had pounced onto him. "Oh! It's you!" he meowed, laughing. "I see that you have managed to become a quiet stalker. Have you been practicing?" He grinned, picking himself up and dusting himself off. He began to lick his tail clean.

"Very well, tha--" The young warrior meowed but he cut it off when he noticed Ashpaw stalking the warrior and couldn't help a laugh as he gave the surprised yowl. "Good morning to you too." He meowed at Ashpaw.

Ashpaw beamed with pride. "yep! Iv been practiceing alot!"
Ashpaw looked over at stormfrost exitedly. "good mornig!" she said so chearfully she almost sang it, though before he could aswer, her eyes began to search for a piece of fresh kill. quikly she selected a vole, as she picked it up she looked at the two older warriors inquisitivly wondering if she should take her meal back to the apprentice den or stay with the two.she did not wish to be disrespectfull to them.
she looked at thistel claw as if inquireing an answer to her delema.

The young warrior noticed the apprentice staring at Thistleclaw with a questioning gaze. "Fshu mmy sty." He meowed through a mouthful of feathers he had distractedly picked from the starling. He swept his paws through his mouth and stated more clearly. "You may stay Ashpaw."

Ashpaw beamed with delight .tossing her vole at her feet she exclaimed" thanks!" her voice was relived that he had understood her delema,and responded so kindly to it.
She jerked her head downwords to look over the plump vole that she had chosen, and began taking savoring bites .
Ashpaw looked up from her meal. smileing she could think of nothing to say. her toothed grin had an edge of insanity about it, though at the thought of this she smiled even wider.
"hows the pray running?" she asked though the queston was not directed to anyone specific. wile waiting for a response, she bent down for another bite of vole.
