Coarsepaw is a sturdy cat with very coarse, dense grey fur. It keeps him warm and dry in the harsh environment of the clan he calls home. Well built and strong, he is one of the largest cats his age. Striking yellow eyes contrast nicely with his dark pelt, and few cats know of the heart-shaped white spot on his belly. One factor that sets him apart from his fellows is his large, fluffy tail (but still covered with coarse fur).Personality:
The perfect example of the strong, silent type, Coarsepaw doesn't say much. Although he'd rather listen and learn, he cares deeply about his clan and his friends. Just like strong roots keep an ever growing tree grounded, he's the one who keeps his growing friends grounded and sane. While he tends to be rather subdued, he is extremely loyal. Even though those who don't know him well feel he can be rather intimadating, those who do know he's gentle and kind hearted. He feels the need to protect his friends, especially those who are younger than him, and is not afraid to put himself in danger to get them out of it. The major difference between himself and all the other Shadowclan cats is that there is not a single shred of pride in his young heart.History:
Coarsepaw has led a quiet life. Growing up much more quickly than his fellow denmates, he always was much larger than his friends. Now, as they start to reach their normal size, he is still the largest out of them all. His passive nature has led to him regretting not speaking up for things. He doesn't hold grudges so there isn't really anyone in camp he's ever had a lasting squabble with. Despite this, ever since he was young his kindness and gentleness have led to him being mocked by older Shadowclan cats.Roleplay Example:
