Brightleaf and her sister, Cloverleaf strolled along the forest, nothing to do. "I wish there is something for us to do", Brightleaf muttered.
"Oh, come on, Brightleaf. We can always do it when we are needed!", Cloverleaf, her older sister spoke to her sister.
Brightleaf looked up at her sister. "C.. can I ask you something?' she asked. She wanted to ask her sister this question since the day their parents died.
Cloverleaf nodded." Yeah. What is it?" she asked. Oh, this better be good.
Suddenly, Brightleaf started to cry. I can't take it, I can't!
Cloverleaf was shocked to see her sister crying. "Hey, uhh.... don't cry, please. Tell me, what is is that you want to tell me?" she asked her sister with full of concern.
Brightleaf managed to hold her tears. "Well, it's just that do you miss our parents?" she asked.
Cloverleaf was at the loss of words. "I...I...I.... of I do you idiot!" she hissed at her, almost crying. "Don't think I'm not!" she spat. How could she still ask that question? After all these years, I tried to forget them but she brought it up again! I've told her not to!
Brightleaf stood quiet, not knowing what to reply. She thought of a reply. "I.. I'm so sorry I asked you that again, even though you've asked me not to", she stammered.
Cloverleaf felt bad. She doesn't mean to say things to her like that. "Well, it's okay anyway. I.. I'm sorry for shouting at you", she apologised.
There was silence for a moment. They looked at each other and tried to smile.
Cloverleaf wanted to burst out laughing. But she hold it.
Brightleaf hoped that there is another cat to talk to. It's just that she had been talking to her sister all day.
