It was late when Sagekit returned. She hoped that all the cats would be asleep so she wouldnt have to deal with them. When she neared the camp, Sagekit signed with relief when she didnt see any cat there. She sat in a little pile of leaves where she usually slept beause she hated the Nursery. Sagekit layed down and closed her eyes, she was very tired. Hopefully no one will talk to me much about this tomorrow. ...I'm so stupid! I cant believe I really thought this whole thinmg will blow over and no one will even remember it tomorrow?! She just shook her head and fell into a dreamless sleep.

"There you are!" cried Nettleclaw as he spotted the sleeping kit. He hadn't gone to sleep that evening and has been out looking for Sagekit. "Don't you think you should go to the nursery now? You're mother's been worried sick!" He ran over to where Sagekit was sitting in the pile of leaves.

When Sagekit heard what Nettleclaw asid, she nearly cried. "I have no mother," she meowed softly, tring so hard not to make her voice break. Sagekit got up and walked away to a tree she usually sat under when she was alone. It was located just out of the cam grounds but still on ShadowClan territory.

"But aren't there she-cats in the nursery who take care of you?" meowed Nettleclaw, this time in a more gentle tone. He walked over and sat down next to the small kit, wrapping his tail around her protectively.

Sagekit hung he head. "No...." she meowed softly, but sounding better. "I wont go near the Nursery...ever."

JadeEyes appeared behind the sad cat. She came from the shadows, as usual. "Don't be sad youngin," She said coaxingly. "My mother died in front of me like your mother is never here." She added. "It is alright. You will be okay." She said, adding,"I promise." The two cats around her knew she really meant it.

Sagekit really anted to smile at Jadeye's kind words, but she couldnt. She liked this Warrior because they had a similiar past so Jadeeyes understood somewhat, unlike all the other cats Sagekit knew.

"Life is hard, young one." She continued. "But you need to fufill your destiny and mine will mend with yours I believe. We will see again much later on, but for now, deal with the present and try to live life to the fullest." She said with a small bit of sympathy in her voice. "Be good now, and stop your crying." She said and backed up into the shadows. Her last words, whispers in the wind were ," Go to sleep now, don't worry for I will tell no one. Your secret is safe with me." Then she was gone...into the shadows until the morning.

Blindkit came out of the nursery, her paws saw for her and right now she could hear very loud voices and they had woken her up, "What's with all the noise?" She knew what it was about but the other cats would think she was wierder than she already was if she said that she already knew.
Cinderflame, not hearing his daughter padded over to Jadeeyes, "Welcome, it is a pleasure for you to be here."

Raccoonpaw just looked over at the group of cats. He didn't mind Sagekit, he actually liked the little fur ball, although he didn't admit that he liked anybody. In fact he always acted like he hated everybody.

Molding with the shadows, she looked down on the grieving cat. She remembers her from somewhere, but where. She shrugged it off and continued through the sky. She went to her shadowed warriors adn wanted to learn more fighting.

A lot of cats started gathering around so Sagekit slipped out, which being small helped out, and left to get some time alone.

"Thought you could slip away did you?" Darkstep meowed to the kit in the darkness. Only his eyes where visible, as the darkness covered the sky. He made a little hiss to Sagekit and sat down besides the other warriors.

"Oh, lay off, Darkstep," hissed Scorchpaw playfully, thwacking her tail on his shoulder. "She's just a kit!" The tabby apprentice leaned down, stroking Sagekit with his cheek good-naturally. "Want me to take you to the nursery? I'll make sure some warriors don't go all crazy on you on the way."

Darkstep rolled his eyes and backened away. Kits gave him disgust. He gave a final gaze to Sagekit and padded back slowly to the warriors' den.
