Walking the clan

Dragonflower looked at Jadeeyes and thought. She nodded her head while her emerald green eyes were shining. "Friends," Dragonflower repeated confidently.

"Hold on." Jadeeyes said. She scurried over to her kit and picked up a piece of prey in the other side of her mouth. She placed her kit next to her and put the prey in front of him. Shadowkit prodded around and finally found it. He started eating the mouse.

"I wish I had some kits," Dragonflower meowed sincirly. She really did long for kits but she was not sure on for a mate. Dragonflower did not even notice that she said that out loud.

Jadeeyes laughed before saying. "They love me." then she looked around her. "I haven't seen Khansoul though.. I'm worried." her expression was grave. She was genuinley worried.

[Thornpaw]

“Jadeeyes!” Came a frantic little squeak from the bushes. A tiny form slipped from the bushes on still wobbly legs. The kit ambled towards the group her coat a jet black. “Jadeeyes!” Nightkit looked up at her expectantly, “Can I join your patrol? Please, I’m brave enough!” The kit puffed out her chest in an attempt to look valiant but noticing the odd glances she soon deflated to her normal kit sized awkwardness. Not far from her den green eyes were watching the cats good naturedly. A smile tipped crookedly in her maw, as Dancingwind surveyed the scene. So much had been on her mind lately…

Jadeeyes looked down at the young kit. "Oh brave one." she began speeking loudly and proud. "At your apprentice hood, you may join us big bad warriors in our quest." Then her valiant voice returned to her normal sweet one. "But while your still young, go along and play with Shadowkit.. or anyone else." Jadeeyes said to her.

Shadowkit looked around, not seeing, but hearing his name. He walked over to them, bumping into his mother and falling onto the earth. "Sorry." he stumbled.

Dragonflower said, "Hellow Shadowkit." She tried to sound hopefull but in her mind, it buzzed and she wanted a mate to talk to, share her most deepest secrets, lay next to and comfort, but Dragonflower did not think any one would want to be with her. She looked back at her friend Jadeeyes, Dragonflower's eyes were full of saddness and most of the time other cats would think of her as a gruff old cranky she-cat that did nothing but complain, but this time her heart was reching out instead of her tounge.
