Breezepaw's Ceremony

[[Rain]]

Rainstar jumped atop of the high rock and called the usal someones. She waited for a moment till all of the cats were there. with her tail she motion Breezepaw to come.

Breezepaw looked at Rainstorm with wonderment in her pale eyes. She approached carefully hesitating as she was usually very timid. She stopped in front of her and dipped her head respectfully.

[[Rain]]

Rainstar started,"I, Rainstar,call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Breezepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Breezepaw's almond-shaped eyes widened, and she had to suppress her surprise by calmly replying, "I do."

[[Rain]]

Rainstar nodded and continued "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Breezepaw, from this moment you will be known as Breezenight.StarClan honors your cheerfulness and your calmness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan."
Rainstar rests her muzzle on the top of the new warrior's head.

Breezepaw hesitated and gave her leader a respectfully lick as she had seen many apprentices becoming warriors do. She was surprised by the qualities her leader had mentioned, but she gave a small grin and nodded.

[[Rain]]

"Tonight you will sit a vigal." said the leader. She took a deep breathe and started chanting for the new warrior.

[[PuRe]]

Shinnypaw padded to her now-warrior friend, Breezenight. "Congratlations Breezenight!" She exclaimed. "You do deserve it!"

The newly named Breezenight dipped her head in farewell, "Night is my element.." She thought cheerfully, proud by finally earning her warrior name.

Darkwing was sitting on the sides next to his leader as he watched the ceremony. Content with the name, he strode over and gave the cat a deputy-to-warrior nod. "Congratulations, Breezenight. You'll be quite a worthy warrior."

Breezenight said nothing, but she gave a curt nod to show that she had heard. She always felt intimidated in front of the Windclan deputy, mainly because of his known temper, and his high rank. "Thanks." She managed to mutter.

Shinnypaw padded to her friend. "Good job, you are finally a warrior! I guess i can't bug you as much as I used to, or should I keep the same?" She asked joking around.

Breezenight gave shinnypaw a cold look of her pale eyes, but then couldn't hold a slight laughter, "Thanks for the compliment." She meowed half jokingly too.
