Breezenight saw Moondance and blushing beneath her fur for having joked with the apprentice she dipped her head to her in greetings.

Wolfsong stood next to her best friend, she had been given a good name. They both had. She looked around camp to see Brightleaf's kits but no Brightleaf.
Raykit watched, that is going to be me someday.
Silverkit also watched, but was wondering if one of them would get to be her mentor.
Wolfsong saw Brightleaf finally, she saw that the queen's eyes and air around her were bright and full of fun. Wolfsong was glad that she had finally found peace, until she saw Brightleaf's new horrid mark.... Was that from the same night they had been shooed away by Fireclaw!? Wolfsong glanced at Breezenight, nervous.

Breezenight gave a happy grin as she saw the kits had witnessed the ceremony, her pale olive green eyes passed towards the cats around and paused on her friend Wolfsong, she gave looked at her with concern and following her gaze she noticed Brightleaf. "Fireclaw.." She whispered through narrowed eyes. She approached her friend and meowed about her suspects. "I don't know but I don't really trust Fireclaw.."
Shrikekit saw the ceremony and meowed to his siblings, "Oh, that was nothing! One day I am going to be deputy and then leader!" He meowed ambitiously.

A flame of red pelt pelted through the clearing, parting the cats in his rush. An out of breath Hawkpaw emerged from the crowd, breathing heavily with a shaken rabbit in his mouth. “Muuhmm, muh...hammh!” He murmured inaudible, his mouth stuffed full of rabbit. Noticing his error, he spat the rabbit down awkwardly, his breath sharp and ragged, making him look quite comical. “Sorry I’m late!” he huffed, as he rubbed Breezenight’s pelt. His eyes caught the still warm rabbit beeth his feet. He glared down at it with piercing amber eyes. “An excellent opportunity, I couldn’t resist the catch. Though it cost me your ceremony!” He scooted the rabbit closer to her. “Here,” he gestured. “You can have him, the little bugger is the least I can do for missing your ceremony.” He rubbed his fiery pelt to hers. “Congratulations! I’m so proud!” he purred with delight, his smile reveling glittering fangs.

Breezenight was startled by his sudden appearance, she laughed and gave her friend a timid smile. "Don't worry," She meowed to him, she always had felt affection for the helpful Hawkpaw, "It's your catch, you may have it." She meowed in her usual low voice, pawing the plump rabbit towards him with grateful pale eyes.
"I can have!" Shrikekit meowed looking at the apprentice with a dignified look, and with slight air of superiority and arrogance these kit carried. (new charrie ^^)

Hawkpaw’s gaze shifted from the rabbit to the kit, then back again. Sighing, he gave the kit a stern look with a twinge of mischief glittering in his eyes. “You may have it but share with your siblings.” She placed the rabbit before him almost laughing when he noticed the rabbit was almost as big as him. His gaze turned back to Breezenight, affectionately giving her a lick on the year. “Ah, so many good times…” he murmured, watching her from the corner of his eye. “We managed to get ourselves in some pretty ridiculous situations!” memories flooded through him like leaves on a breeze.

Breezenight felt stiff as she felt Hawkpaw's tongue rasping her ear. "Yeah I'd say..." She meowed regaining her composure, and then whispered, knowing that what she was about to say wouldn't be very descent in the eyes of her clan since her best friend was a Riverclanner, "And with Winterleaf too."

At the mention of their Riverclan friend Hawkpaw’s eyes glittered. A mischievous smile parted his lips was he edged closer to Breezenight, his fiery pelt brushing hers. “You know what I think?” She whispered in an almost inaudible tone, though a hint of excitement held an edge on his voice. “I think we should pay her a visit, she deserves to know about your new warrior position.” His smile flashed rebelliously, remembering their last encounter with their friend had not gone so well. “So what do you say?” He purred, rubbing his pelt to hers, enticing her to come along.

"I-I don't know.." Breezenight stuttered uncomfortably backing away and looking down at her paws. "I argued with her..." She thought bitterly. Her fur bristled at the thought of the Riverclan warrior, "I cannot betray Windclan by talking with her," She meowed determinedly, "I am a warrior now.." She finished awkwardly.

“Ah but would you betray her as a friend by not going?” He questioned her with hard eyes. “I’m sure she would be delighted to see you, friends do fight, have you seen Darkwing and me? We quarrel constantly but I still love and respect him…hes somewhat of a father to me…” No family, no father, Hawkpaw was alone. He grimaced as he saw Darkwing’s frowning face as he was planning to sneak off to RiverClan again. I’m sorry, he thought, as he began to slip away from the clearing. “Please, come with me” he pleaded with Breezenight. “Put your duty aside for her, you friend.” He began to fade into the tall grass his fiery body a mire red splotch in the vast sea of grass. “I’m going, join me If you like.” He called, letting her mull over the questions he had asked her. His muscles tightened, as this was not the first time he had snuck of to see RiverClan.

"No Hawkpaw!" Breezenight called after the apprentice, she wanted to explain to him, but it was like a wound that would never cease its pain. Running fast towards him, swirling with emotions that gave her a burst of speed she reached the apprentice, lowering her pace till she was in front of him, her eyes watering, "Please hear." She meowed stifling a sob, "I fought with her, we agreed we could no longer be friends if it means betraying the warrior code." Her voice breaking down, feeling her heart on her throat. "I don't want to see her, understand me, please."
