Rabbitpaw padded around WindClan for a while before she saw Moondance sulking in a corner alone. Making her way over to her, she laid silently beside her. She kept her emerald eyes on the sky, brown ears perked forward on her white head. Placing brown paws in front of her, she asked the question that would start the conversation she was aiming for.
"What happened with Hawkclaw back there?"
Finally turning her gaze to Moondance, she patiently waited the blind cat's answer.

Moondance placed her eyes apon the spot where the apprentice was laying. With a sigh she said, "Weren't you there? He was surprised a useless blind cat like me could make such a great kill." she said bitterly, keeping her cool. SHe flexed her legs and flexed her claws along with it.

Rabbitpaw nodded smoothly, not letting Moondance's bitter tone faze her. Taking a few steps closer to the blind she-cat, she continued. "All I heard him do was compliment you..." she pointed out logically. She hoped Moondance could see what she meant, but if not she was willing to talk all night if it would help her friend and mate.

Hawkclaw padded in to the Wind clan camp grumpily. He had not had a great day. Once he walked in he noticed Moondance and Rabbitpaw. He just gave a great big sigh and walked away in to the warriors den.

"But didn't you see his expression! Even a blind cat can see that!" she yelled punning on herself. "His mouth agape and he said it was a tone of shock, like a useless blind cat like me can do anything!" she stopped for a moment and licked her paw, trying to clam down. "And how much did I want to show that cat that I could fight, oh how did I. But I was the one who didn't get physical with him, because I want to prove to everyone I was a loyal and hardworking Wind Clan warrior!" her words rung out with silence to followe.

As Hawkclaw was in the warriors den, he heard the blind cat yelling. He layed in his moss 'nest' that was neatly arrangened on the ground. Hawkclaw still heard Moondance. Then he closed his eyes and wished that the incident would just go away. When he opened them he could not take it any more. He jolted up and padded angrilly to the entrance of the den until he saw Moondance and Rabbitpaw. "Will you please stop you squaking,.." He paused to take a breath, "I'm trying to get so sut eye," Hawkclaw meowed quite satisfied with him self.

Moondance eyes gave of a red hue. She rushed at him, she couldn't take it anymore. This cat was quite rude. Her eyes stared him down and she hissed angily, "You are a discrespectful little lump of dung! Rainstar doesn't deserve such horrible useless furballs like you in his clan!" She bared her teeth in pure anger. "One day you'll get what you deserve!" she raised a paw in the air and just about brought it down, when she realized she wanted to fight this cat. She instead stormed out of the clan and into the forest, her born territory.

Hawkclaw stared blankly out after Moondance. What is up with me? Hawkclaw asked himself while he wondered what was with him today. He looked over at Rabbitpaw with a sorrowful glance that said, Sorry, I don't know what got in to me.

Rabbitpaw sighed, her tail now hanging limply behind her, not even attempting to sway happily as it always did. The happy sparkle in her eyes was gone for the time being. She knew what she needed now was sleep...she wanted to just give up, but she would continue working on this when she had time. Trading a glance with Hawkclaw, she closed her emerald eyes for a few short seconds before she padded to the apprentice's den. Starclan willing, she would soon be moved to the warrior's den.
Yawning and padding in short circles to promote dizziness, she flopped down, resting a white head on soft brown paws with closed lids. After a few short minutes, her breathing slowed and she was dead to the world. Pushing away nightmares, she attempted to bring forth pictures of Hawkclaw...but they were replaced with horrible images and she twisted in her sleep. It was always this way, and it only lasted a few hours. Then she was still again, sleeping peacefully.

Moondance fumed with anger. She stormed through the forest, branches blindly whacking her face pitifully. She sniffed out a soft dry spot and pulled the moss from nearby. She looked angrily around her, though she couldn't see anything. She curled up and her breathing rasped. The moss below her squirmed with beetles and bugs as she slept, snd she squirmed among them. Her dreams were filled with horrors, and she finally realized what was up with Hawkclaw and Rabbitpaw. Her eyes opened quickly and she layed still in shock.

Hawkclaw saw how sad and tired Rabbitpaw was and he wanted to confort her but he told himself to stay where he was. "I should just leave her alone, I've caused a lot of trouble already," Hawkclaw meowed saddly outloud. Then he wwent back inside the warriors den and curled up in a warn soft moss bed.
