Shinypaw's Ceremony

Rainstar finished her vole and called her clan to the high rock. She signaled to Shinypaw, the warrior to-be. "I, Rainstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Shinypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" The silver pelted leader looked at the warrior to-be with the clan's pride in her eyes.

Shinypaw looked up at her leader, and answered with a clear, strong voice. "I do.." Her cream-colored pelt bristelling with excitement. She was finally getting her warrior name!!

[[Rain]]

Rainstar nodded and took a deep breathe. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Shinypaw, from this moment you will be known as Shinygaze. StarClan honors your electric personality and your loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan."
Rainstar restsher muzzle atop of the new warrior's head.

Shinygaze gave a wide smile, and felt her leader's warm muzzle on her head. Yes! After moons of being an apprentice I'm finally a warrior!!! She thought, hapilly. I wonder if Finchpaw is one already...

Hawkclaw sat in the crowde of cats and saw that Shinypaw got her warriors cerimony. 'Now the clan has at least one more strong healthy warrior,' Hawkclaw thought. "Congragulations Shinygaze!"

Rabbitpaw sat next to Hawkclaw and nodded when he shared his congratulations. Feeling a pang, she smiled and encouraged nonetheless.

Moondance chanted the name along with teh rest of the clan. She looked towards where they all were gathered and smiled.

Hawkclaw turned his head to Rabbitpaw and smiled. Then he meowed quitly in her ear trying to be quiet during the cerimony," Hi Rabbitpaw, isn't it great to have more warriors." Then he leaned a little in to her and closed his eyes, thankful for her soft pelt next to his.
