Nightclaw was comforted by Whisperwind and Hawkpaws answers, though she still didn't feel safe about being around here. It felt eerie. "I think it would still be a good idea to get out of here," She meowed. "We'll be safer back at the camp." Nightclaw hoped that the others agreed with her idea, because though she would stay if they didn't, she wanted to be back in the safety of her den, next to Whisperwind.
OOC: i might not be able to come on as much now that school is starting, so i may take a couple days to reply. also, i'll be away for part of this weekend, so i won't be able to post at all friday and saturday. sorry!

Whisperwind dipped his head in understanding. He could tell that although Hawkpaw was acting perfectly fine, she was still hurt, even if it was just enough to sting. Another cat with that sort of pride and avoidance of showing weakness was standing right next to him. "So you're fine to walk then?" he said kindly, more of a statement than a question. Raising his head to the now sinking sun, he knew dark would be soon to follow. While the cats would soon return to their dens, many animals stayed out at night, including badgers. If his wise leader thought it best to deal with this new found trouble swiftly, it was not Whisperwind's place to question his decision. But if it was up to him, he'd wait until sun rise to persue the creature when it would most likely be snoozing in its dark, most likely damp, abode.
Specklespot nodded in agreement with Nightclaw, interupting his quiet brother's deep thougt. "We do need to get back," he said, now shifting his gaze to the apprentice, "It's not that I don't doubt your medical skills, I'm sure you're much better at that stuff than a cat like me, but our medicine cat should really take a look at those wounds."
Whisperwind's long tail swung back and forth as he added, "And we need to tell our superiors of this. I think Hawkpaw should be the one to inform them. Then we can get her some treatment." The brownish tom smiled warmly down at the battered apprentice. His heart filled with happiness that she wasn't any more beaten up, but a thought occurred to him. Why was this apprentice so close to the boarder all alone? That could start another boarder skirmish, but he pushed this thought out of his mind. When the dependable brothers were her age, they patroled the boarders and ran freely together all the time. The only difference was that they had eachother's backs.

Nightclaw nodded in agreement with Specklespot and Whisperwind. "They're right." she confirmed, flicking her tail back and forth nervously. Though the danger was not with them right now, she didn't feel comfortable being so close to it. And what was Hawkpaw doing so close to the border after the awful border fight earlier? A sudden thought hit her, and she tried to push it away immediately. What if this danger was the cause of the feeling that made the air thick with danger, and anger. Could this push the Clans into the brewing storm of war and rivalries? Nightclaw blinked, and the worry vanished from her eyes.

ooc:my dad gave it to me when I was obsessed with warriors. he thought since I liked it that I'd like watership down because its similar, but I never got around to reading it. was it good?

OOC: it was SO good! it wasn't exactly like warriors, but it was actually pretty similar. haha all of my friends were making fun of me though (jokingly of course.) They kept saying: omg, rabbit warriors now?! haha. but you HAVE to read it. it was so good!

OOC: haha i know what you mean... and now midterms are coming up...
My science teacher is being stupid. He isn't giving out any studying stuff or anything! he just expects us to read the text book = @
haha i'm missing 2 midterms cuz of a soccer tourniment. uggh but then i have to retake them = (
and yes, you have to read it asap. Also, one of the teachers i had last year recomended this other book to me, Firebringer. I've only read two chapters, cuz i'm finishing off a book my friend lent to me, but so far its really good. But its been really sad too; i've cried in both chapters... well i guess i was in a kinda depressed mood. But it's still really sad so far ='(
