Ash paw sprinted through the snarled terrain brambles ripping at her pelt. Perhaps she had ventured to close to the two legged garden but her nosey nature kept her legs moving forward although her mind was scolding her.” curiosity killed the cat!” she uttered to herself as she remembered the old elders rhyme from her old clan and never would she had guessed that it was so very true. And then another line appeared in her head and before she had time to think she said “but success in finding brought it back!” she slowed down to a stop and remembered what she was doing but she whirled around dazed by her new surroundings. She opened her moth a crack and took in the strange yet oddly comforting sent. She had no Idea from witch direction she had just come and seemed to be surrounded by brambles and thorns. For a moment she panicked and started leaping about trying to gaze over the thicket but it was no use. She was too small. She sat down to think it all over and try to find her way out.

Thornpaw was out hunting. He was stalking a mouse when he heard a crashing sound. Staying low to the ground, he creapt toward it. He peered around a bush, only to see that it was another cat. And a young one at that!

Thistlepaw stepped out of the briars, looking curiously at the other cat. In most circumstances, he would have been aggressinve, and badgered the she-cat about why she was on ThunderClan territory. However, he sensed something diferent about her. "Do you know that you're on ThunderClan territory?" he asked.

Ashpaw eyed the strange cat with curiosity. “Thunderclan?” She mused with amusment ringing in her tone, “no idea.” She paused for a moment, before continuing, “My name is Ashpaw what’s yours?” She questioned curiously. She was intrigued by this new cat, though she was still cautious about who she trusted, especially what happened at the twoleg garden… She shook her head to dispose of the unwanted thought. She looked up at the cat with hope in her eyes. A new friend possibly?

OOC: Thistlepaw is now a warrior, but in this thread, he's still an apprentice.
"My name's Thistlepaw," meowed Thistlepaw to the strange cat. "I'm a ThunderClan apprentice. Are you in a Clan? You have an unfamiliar scent," he meowed, bristleing a little.

"No I am not a member of a clan." she replied with lonely sadness ringing in her tone. She gazed down at her paws not knowing what to say next. “So, do you live close to this thicket?” She questioned leaving the awkward silence behind, and letting a cheerful grin slowly appear on her face.

"Yeah," replied Thistlepaw. "My Clan's camp is really close to this place. You know..." he paused. "Maybe I can take you there. I bet Bramblestar might let you join the Clan," he meowed. He was excited at the prospect of finding a cat to join his Clan.

"YOU WOULD DO THAT FOR ME?!" yowled Ashpaw with ecstatic emotion. She leapt up into the air with joy and came crashing down with an unexpected thud. It caused more pain than she thought it would, but it was instantly forgotten. She was finally going to have a home! Once again a surge of energy waved through her and she thought of nothing to do in time to tame it so she began to run laps round Thistlepaw excitedly.

A russle in the reed let out a slender she-cat. She had white and blue fur, that covered her body in markings. She looked like an apprentice, and her tail was flicking excitedly. She stared at both of the cats, and looked at them with warm eyes.

Yes, finally. So close. She could hear the mouse, inches before her. She flexed her claws eagerly. A sudden noise drifted to her ears. She looked up, disturbing her hiding place. The mouse gave a horrific shriek and took of through the undergrowth. “No!” Thornpaw scowled setting off after the creature. She crashed through the bracken, not caring the racket she was making, actually quite proud of it. She leaped through the air, tearing through the brambles finding herself in a small clearing. “No!” She mewed helplessly she tried to maneuver in mid air but to no avail. She crashed head on into the ashen cat, sending them both sprawling. “Terribly sorry…” She muttered picking herself up. “Uh, you’re on my tail.” She mutter grumpily, disappointed at her lost catch. She hastily got up, but something caught her eye. “You dirty stinkin’!” She fumed. The mouse sat at the edge of the clearing, and she almost swore it was laughing. But upon noticing her he scurried away. “Oh no you don’t you little.” She dove onto the underbrush, followed by a brief scuffle, and lots of noise. She emerged triumphant, the still alive mouth held daintily in her jaws. “Oh um, hello Thistleclaw.” She mumbled, dropping the mouse, catching it in her paws, though careful not to hurt it. She turned to the new cat. A tad scrawny, but hey. “And, you are?” She asked the cat, whom still hadn’t quite picked herself up from their first little get together. She gazed at the mouse, letting it slip from her paws. “A mouse as cunning as you deserves to live another day.” She mewed quietly watching it disappear into the brambles.
