Shinypaw + Rabbitpaw

[~*hawkclaw*~]

Hawkclaw was wondering why they were ignoring a supirior, but he looked over and saw them battleing a fox. His fur began to rise as he lunged at the 'fluffy beast'. He raked his claws over the fox's side as he meowed, "Are you guys alright so far?"

[{Snarky}]

[[Yes. It's not only a habit of hers but also a habit of the person who plays her...lol]]

Rabbitpaw yowled. "Don't plan on letting go anytime soon!" Her claws dug in deeper, making the fox hiss in pain. She bent down and bit into the fox's neck, clamping down as she would to a mouse.

[[PuRe]]

"I don't think Rabbitpaw is!" Shinypaw exclaimed from under the fox. "I only have a scratch, but I see blood dripping from the fox top! Check on Rabbitpaw!!!" She meowed alarmed. Getting out from under the fox, she bit the animal's snout, making it's nose bleed, trying to choke it.

Rabbitpaw's legs wanted to buckle, but she wouldn't give up. Her legs were covered in fox bites, for he kept swinging around and grabbing what he could reach. Her blood was starting to get into the fox's eyes and he was becoming uncoordinated. His lack of breath not helping him a bit.

[~*hawkclaw*~]

Hawkclaw dashed around to Rabbitpaw and saw that she was badly hurt. He helped her attack the fox on it's forearm. Then he too began to accumilate scratches.

Shinypaw fell to the ground, her shoulder bleeding badly, her skin opened-up. (I know, gross XP) Blinking back tears of pain, Shinypaw pushed hard on the fox's bleeding chest, making it collaps on the floor. "Are you guys alright?" She asked from behind a whiny voice. The fox seemed quite dead, but how could she be sure? "Rabbitpaw? Warrior?"

Rabbitpaw nodded, making her way over to Shinypaw and collapsing, her legs finally giving out. She licked the wound on Shinypaw's shoulder, keeping her eyes on Hawkclaw. She was surprised he had helped her, he must not know...

Rabbitpaw's eyes filled with tears, both from the pain and the thought of her mentor abandoning her once he found out she had chosen Bearpaw.

Shinypaw smiled relieed, that both cats were alright. She returned Rabbitpaw's lick and she started cleaning the other apprentice's wounds, forgetting about her own. "Are you alright? Apart from having your legs all hurt?" She asked, half jokingly.

[{Snarky}]

Rabbitpaw smiled against Shinypaw's fur, continuing her licking.
"Ya, I think so."

Hawkclaw decended to the earthen floor. He breathed heavily after the scrap with the fox with some of his clan mates. After he caught his breath he asked again," You guys alright?" Then he joked, "Not dead are you?"

[{Snarky}]

Sparklepaw stuck her tounge out playfully at her mentor before she shook her head.

"I'm alright...Shinypaw?"

"I think I'm fine.. I just hope I wont loose the shoullder." Shinypaw said, making a weird face. "We should go to the medicine cat, before our wounds get infected." She said, and started padding of. "Rabbitpaw, can you walk?"

[{Snarky}]

Rabbitpaw rose to her paws, a little shakily but she padded forward. Her legs threatned to buckle under her with every step, but she kept walking. Camp wasn't to far. She hoped.

She leaned against Shinypaw, mostly for comfort but also a little because she didn't trust herself to make it the whole way. She smiled up at Shinypaw, her new best friend.

Shinypaw supported Rabbitpaw the whole way. She had just met this apprentice, but now they had created a frienship bond. Wow, that was quick. But Shinypaw was happy about it. "I will take you to the medicine cat, you're much worse than I am..." She told Rabbitpaw. "Then, when you are ready, I will go there.." Shinypaw led the other apprentice back to camp, hoping she too, could stand the pain on her shoulder as much as Rabbitpaw was with her legs.

Rabbitpaw shook her head.

"No, Shinypaw. You go first. I'm fine. It looks worse than it is. Please, go."
She looked at the apprentice, her green eyes pleading, but also told Shinypaw she wouldn't take no for an answer. Rabbitpaw was tempted to wonder if her motherly attitude was due to her having a mate already at this young age, but she shoved the thought aside. Nobody besides Hawkclaw knew. She smiled encouragingly at Shinypaw.
