Brightpaw decided to go out hunting. She wasnt going to go alone, so she went with, Silversnow.
ooc: i think your cats name is Silversnow, right Winter?

Silversnow went at a slow pace besides Brightpaw, purring at the apprentice. "Its a nice day" the snowy white she-cat commented, staring at the uprised and warm sun, which rays touched everything in the Windclan camp.

"Yes it is," Brightpaw replied. "A perfect day for hunting!" Brightpaw always got excited when she went out to hunt. "I hope this time i'll catch a rabbit, and be quick enough!" She bounced around, also being quiet, ready for any prey that came her way.

Silversnow giggled slightly behind her breath. "I'm sure you will" she meowed kindly at the apprentice. "Perhaps I can give you some tips" she halted for a heartbeat and then proceeded. "But I'm sure you'll make a good job." She continued padding towards the forrest with her pelt shining pure silver as the sun arised more in the sky and her tabby tail gleaming deplightfully.
As the two Windclanners reached the forrest, prey scent boanded aimelssly in the air. "Looks like the sun brought a lot of prey this newleaf!" Silversnow purred.

Silversnow didn't reply, but nodded to show she had heard. Her mind was in hunting as she spotted a rabbit nibbling on a seed below a bush. She crouched and creapt to it, silent but rapid like a snake. With vicious claws, she slashed at the rabbit's fluffy tail. It got stuck there and the ivory warrior could bite its neck.

Brightpaw watched as Silversnow caught the rabbit. "Amazing!" Brightpaw whispered to herself, "I want to be a good hunter, just like Silversnow!" Brightpaw wished Silversnow could be her mentor. Brightpaw crouched down, ready for any prey that game to her senses.

Silversnow gave the apprentice a tired smile. "Thank you" she meowed, blushing behind her pelt. "But I'm not the same now... Well, I will after my kits are born, and they are apprentices, then I will be able to be the same again" she explained and told Brightpaw about her relationship with Fishwhisker.

Silversnow smiled. "I'm so excited for them! I know they'll be just as brave as their father..." she meowed lost in thought. She moved her head sideways, remembering what she was doing. "Okay Brightpaw, your turn!" she said, signaling to some trembling bushes with the tip of her ringed tail.

Brightpaw got into a crouch. Rabbit! Brightpaw waited for the rabbit to hop out of the bushes. Brightpaw darted forward. The rabbit noticed her in time, and ran off. Brightpaw hissed with anger. "I was so close!"

Silversnow pressed her muzzle in Brightpaw's flank. "Its okay, try it again" she meowed. "Plus, you can not always finish out victorious" she pointed out, scratching her ear.

"Yeah, you're right." Brightpaw took a step forward, lifted her head, and scented the air. She couldnt make out anything, so she tried again.
ooc: what other prey is there besides rabbit in WindClan? (yeah i'm stupid ;D )

Brightpaw smiled. She knew she could do it if Silversnow said so. Brightpaw scented the air once again. The scent that caught her nose was mouse. She got into a crouch, and stalked forward slowly. A small flash of brown fur ran past her paws. She quickly darted forward, ..and caught the mouse with her paw. She bit it to finish it off. "Was that good?" She asked Silversnow, breathlessly.
