Silversnow was stunned at Brightpaw's ingenious idea and rapidness. "Wow, you're great!" she meowed. "You're better than me when I was an apprentice! I would have never imagine you would kick me! Well done, you deserve a break!" the white warrior passed a rozy tongue over the apprentice's head and signaled with her ringed tail the path back to the camp.

Brightpaw felt all warm and 'fuzzy' inside. She had done good! "Thanks," she replied, blushing.
The she followed her mentor, onto the path, to the way back to camp.
(( her attack was almost like MULTI-TASKING! something which can be hard for me at times... lol ))

The two Windclanners had already reached the camp. Silversnow thought she would be exahusted by then, but Brighpaw gave her energy. "Ready to proceed?" she asked eagerly.

Silversnow smiled. She headed back to the forrest with her precious apprentice. “Okay Brightpaw, would you like to start hunting or tracking?”

Silversnow smiled. “Very well” she meowed. “Okay Brightpaw, tracking is when you check out your territory for odd scents, such as other animals or intruders from other clans” she explained. “You nose all trees, oaks, and plants. Then, you pass your pelt by them to mark your dominant Windclan scent and warn the cats from other clans that are nearby.” Silversnow scented a big oak with a musty smell and brushed her coat with it, giving it her Windclan scent. “Tracking is pretty easy, but pretty important as well”

Brightpaw nodded. "Ok. What happens if there is a different clan scent on our territory?" She asked curiously, "Also, what should i try marking?"

((oh lol yah sorry. Yah i do sigs... sometimes... they finish sorta crappy thought... i think the only thing i’m proud of is the ty lee avvie and the zuko sig))
“Whatever is near the border of your clan with other, but also mostly, big plants that carry your scent easier by the border” Silversnow replied, then hesitated. “Well, if you find someone in your territory, its usually easier to ask them why they are here and drive them off politely... Other warriors have a different opinion to do so though... But you must always be alert in case they are in search for a quarrel. If so, always keep your claws unleash and hiden in the ground.

Brightpaw nodded her head in thought. She wondered if any other clan cat would come onto her clan territory, and how she would react. "Should i try marking our border?" she asked

"Go on" Silversnow meowed. "But remember, when you brush you scent with the plants and bushes, don't brush it too hard or they will carry your scent to other animals"

Brightpaw listened to her mentor carefully. She walked up to the border. Its scent was fading. She rubbed her body against a bush lightly. When she backed off, she could smell her clan scent! "Did i do it right?" Brightpaw asked her mentor, all excited.

"Good job!" Silversnow purred. "That's just the way you do it!" she praised and pressed her muzzle in Brightpaw's flank. "Now let's see... We have practiced fighting, tracking... Now we're just missing hunting!" she meowed. "And then, you'll be all set to become a warrior!" the ivory she-cat exclaimed.

Brightpaw froze. WARRIOR! she thought. "Warrior..." she whispered... "Ok! Lets hunt! I want to catch a big fat rabbit! Or enough fresh-kill for the whole clan!"
