Immensely enjoying himself as the pair sat quietly together, Whisperwind could hear the wind blow steadily across the moore. Rabbits and other creatures rustled distractedly in the gross and the sun was now low in the sky. Brilliant colors starting to emerge. Vibrants oranges and glaring yellows, coupled with deep reds. A dense, dark blue touched the horizon that signaled the unhappy realization that soon the pair would have to return home. Steady steps and quiet huffs immediately alerted Whisperpaw to the approach of another cat. A moment later, and he knew it was his elder brother a second before he emerged from a brittle bush. Halting in his tracks for a second at the sight of the pair snuggled so close, a smirk spread across his face. "Instilling fear into the hearts of the Windclan creatures, are we?" he said with a laugh in his voice, picking up a few of the animals lying nearby. "I'm not," Whisperwind said with a smile, brushing his long tail along Nightclaw's back, "but you should see her moves. Beat yours paws down." Specklespot closed his eyes halfway, his way as saying haha, and turned towards camp. Whisperwind picked up the rest of the prey lying around and turned towards his love, flicking his head to signal they should start heading home.

(((SO SO SORRY! it took me so long to reply. Midterms are coming up, and i havn't had as much time to go on the comp. sorry!))) Nightclaw smiled, embarrased. She frowned as she realized it was past due time they started heading home. Then a sudden realization of joy and excitement hit her. It wasn't as if going back to the Clan would tear her away from Whisperwind. Nightclaw stretched and began picking up the remaining fresh-kill. She flicked her tail happily and shuddered a contented sigh. "I love you, Whisperwind," she muttered, realizing that she had said that out-loud, but not caring. Because she did love him.
(((also, this site might just make your day: www.hoopsandyoyo.com haha that's the funniest site i've ever been on = P )))

ooc:it's not problem, I completely understand. I just started my sport and so I won't be on much either for a long long while. but I will be on every weekend, or at least responding to posts. so no worries there . His mouth full of their prey, Whisperwind gently pressed his cheek against hers to show he reciprocated the feeling. There was a lightness in his step he hadn't felt since apprenticehood, and a hope in his heart that freed him. The walk back to camp, through the steadily dimming moore, seemed much shorter than it should have. Quiet prevailed as they discended the gentle slope leading to camp. Specklespot led the way, pushing roughly through the prickly entrance, with Whisperwind walking step for step with Nightclaw until this point. He backed up, allowing her to go first, before he'd continue into camp.

(((oooh, what sport?))) Nightclaw nodded thankfully to Whisperwind, glad that she would be able to put down the freshkill and grab some herself, now the there was a sudden hunger at the pit of her stomach. She couldn't remember being this happy since WindClan rescued her from the life of a loner, and took her in as an apprentice.

ooc:softball. we practice or have a game every day of the week.
Flicking his ears in her direction to show he'd seen her nod of thanks, he pushed through the tunnel after her and deposited his haul on the freshkill pile. Picking up a small rabbit, a bit more than he'd usually eat, his mouth watered and his stomach growled as he sat to enjoy his meal. Specklespot quickly tore into a raven he'd caught, ripping the feathers off with practiced ease, and made no more to start or be part of a conversation. Chewing his food slowly in order to enjoy it properly, he waited for Nightclaw.

((OMG. i'm going crazy... i could have SWORN i already posted here, like a week or so ago! That happened with my last post too! holy poo. If you find out i die, maybe tell my family that i was already slowly going crazy, so it was bound to happen sooner or later = P well anyways, i had written 4 WHOLE LONG SENTENCES but apparently i actually didn't... but i'm too lazy to write a bunch right now, so be prepared to be saddened by the shortness of this next post
"It was fun! And ya," Nightclaw meowed. "We really do." Whisperwind hadn't only made Nightclaw learn to trust again; he had taught her how to love again. She not only felt a deep warmth for him, but for the other cats around her. For they were no longer just her Clan-mates; they were her family.
OOC: so ya, my other post was longer, and this one was longer then i thought i would write, but it was basically a summary of my other "imaginary" one. wow. I think i really am going crazy.

Whisperwind gazed lovingly at her, sitting with him and his brother, and wondered about the future. An over analyzer, he did this frequently, but never about his future with a she-cat. In the past, there had been none to wonder about. Sure, his brother had found many to be overly friendly with, but none he'd taken seriously. Whisperwind doubted if his elder brother ever would. Till this point, Whisperwind had never found a she-cat he was truely interested in, one that held his attention in conversation or simply by just sitting near him. And now he had. His heart beat a bit more painfully with embarassment when he realized how truely inexperienced he was. Not sure how he could impress Nightclaw, he determined to be the best tom he could for her. Reliable and helpful, he would always be there for her. Always.
