A spotted she-cat lay stretched out beside the murky water of the marsh, the once standing reeds crushed under her. Her tail flicked occasionally, and her eyelashes would flutter in a gentle blink as she stared across and into the water. Her fur was shining, leopard-like and gorgeous. A light sigh escaped her and floated on the air. She pretended to follow it wither her eyes, but got bored and laid her head down on her paws. Her yellow eyes were normally sharp enough to cut through glass, but now they were gentle. She was alone: she could be vulnerable.

Dragonflower padded through the shady marsh. Shadows were casted over the ground as she went on. Dragonflower scented the cool air and she nnoticed another cat near by. She kept padding on towards the scent. Once she hit the x marks the spot, Dragonflower noticed Leopardpelt. "Hello Leopardpelt," Dragonflower meowed while dipping her head in a friendly gesture.
