Pureheart padded to the small stream. Willing to start a training sesion with her newly-returned apprentice. "Finchpaw, are you ready to learn how to catch fish?" She asked, to the small, ginger, tom.

“Completely!” Finchpaw purred behind his mentor. He was glad Pureheart was his teacher again for they he had become strangely attached to her, despite his sharp tongue and his insults. Licking Pureheart’s flank in greet, the ginger tom lashed his tail in excitement once he realized what was going on. “Pureheart, after I learn to fish, will I become a warrior?” Finchpaw asked.

Pureheart smiled warmly at the small apprentice. "Sure you will, and I know you'll become a great one, Finchpaw." She said, "Now, let's fish so you can learn fast. When you are fishing never let your shadow cover the water, that scares away the fish.." She explained.
((sorry, crappy post, but i've g2g.. I'll post back tomorrow!))

((nvm c ya! ^-^))
Finchpaw nodded, concentrated on Pureheart’s words. “May I try it?” he urged. Before Pureheart could answer, he was already sitting besides the river, careful his shadow didn’t fall over it. A silverly and scaly fish swam below his already sheated claws. The young tom bashed the water harshly, splashing some of it into his eyes. Visibility was impossible as he tried to glinck his eyes with his tail. When his eyes were clear, Finchpaw stared at the water, but the fish was gone.

"Dont splash the water so hard." Pureheart explained. "First prepare to get the fish out of the water, curve your paw before striking. And when you strike, do it fst but without splashing too much water."

Finchpaw nodded determidly. He sat down besides the water, careful his shadow didn't fall over it. A fish swam over his claw again and the tabby tom recalled his failture and concentrated when he slashed on the water. His right paw stricked, while his left paw protected his eyes. The fish fidgedted uncontrobly in his claw and he swiftly bit its neck. It fell to the ground along with a purr of satisfactation. "I did it!" Finchpaw shrieked. "I caught a fish!" he meowed and positioned the fish in Pureheart's paws. ((Yey! Now he's all set to become a warrior!!! ))

OOC: Nvm! But is he ready to become a warrior now?
IC: The moon rose in the sky and the ginger apprentice had already caught eight fishes. During his first fish Finchpaw had failed in some captures but finished victorious in others. Still, he was proud for himself for he knew what came. Fighting, tracking, hunting, and fishing... He thought excitedly. All these four lessons were taught and learned. "Pureheart" he started. "When will I become a warrior? I already learned how to fight, track, hunt, and fish. I'm all set! Ain't I?"

"Yes, but you learned that so fast that you are still too young." Pureheart explained worriedly. "If you become a warrior now, you would be the youngest there. Would you like that? Or you wouldnt mind?"
OOC: seriously.. isnt finch a little young? or is he older than i thought?
