When Shinnginpaw sais that Snowstorm and Icestorm torned round to look at her. They have not heard that there was one for the two other apprentices.

"You two play a very important part in this. You see even before I was a cat I was a twolegged myslef. I learned a game were you had to build up to the striking point. Let me explain, you and bluepaw, are two very important characters, I would be the king, foxkit the queen and you two the 3rd and 4th most important pieces the knights. The object is to get to the heart of the other side and kill there storngest point, the king and queen. Like Brokenstar, and Tigerclaw, they need to kill the only thing standing in the way of getting our king, me. The only cat getting in the way of this murder is foxkit. You see if they kill me, none of the forest has a chance. JUst like me they can't be killed by another cat but by someopne who is half lifed. It is very confusing I know. I don't even know how I can remember all this." Fireheart sat for a moment.
" Bramblestar... There is something you need to do in order to make this work. SO I can fill in Foxkit when she becomes an apprentice, about what is to become I must be her mentor. If not she will have a harder time."

Snowstorm then looked at Foxkkit and Fireheart then at Bramblestar and back at Fireheart and Foxkit and back at Bramblestar.

Moonpaw had been listening outside the nursery, she didn't know why she had wanted to check on Foxkit again, but after listening to Fireheart and Bramblestar she decided that she shouldn't join in the conversation. Moonpaw had never had any brothers or sisters, and she had no idea who her parents were, so she felt a connection with Foxkit when she had first seen her. Moonpaw felt that Foxkit was almost like family to her. So this whole thing bothered her.

Moonpaw froze Fireheart knew she was there, I'll have to work on my stealth she thought to herself. "I just came to check on Foxkit." Moonpaw mewed quietly so that the other cats would barely hear her.

"I'm sorry it seemed like I was spying Fireheart." Moonpaw meowed to Fireheart, she then looked at Bramblestar. "Foxkit is going to be okay isn't she Bramblestar?" Moonpaw asked sadly.

"Ok Fireheart." Moonpaw quietly left the nursery. Even though she didn't think she would be able to forget about it even if she tried.

Bramblestar watched sadly as the apprentice left the nursery. This was such a shocking change of events, and Moonpaw must be very saddened by it. She turned to Fireheart. "When am I to give her my life?" she asked.

" When you turn her into an apprrentice. As her spirit of her kit hood vanishes from existance you only have one opprentunity. As the light in the sky brights as does her pelt, you must be killed, that life will go to her. I will be up in Starclan making this happen." Fireheart stared at the floor. The only thing is. You truthfully only have one life. It'ssplit into 9 different parts. HE time you lose a life you lose part of your heart. But it doesn't weaken you. She has to wait until apprentice ship if she takes your life. If she takes mine. She won't ever be killed by any other force other than herslef. If she tqakes mine sahe can choose when the right time is to die."
