Once Duskkit and her rescuer arrived back at camp, Duskkit crept back to the nursery for afraid of being in trouble. She poked her head out of the nursery a litle to see if her rescuer would tell on her.

Sparklepaw looked back to see the face peeping at her and she smiled.
"Don't worry. Your secrets safe with me."
She deeply wished she could share her secret with the young kit, but she knew she couldn't.
"Is your mother around?"
she meowed. |
