A molted gray pelt rippled slightly as the cat who belonged to it reached around to lick at his leg, which had recently been broken. While he knew that it would recover well, and wouldn't harass him more then what his small ear and paw already did, he still hated being layed back. If this leg was any sign, it was saying that he would never be a good asset to his clan. How could he, with unusually small limbs, and having one of the good limbs broken?
I shouldn't have wandered off. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have been attacked by that fox... But another, less pessimistic thought raged into his mind. If you hadn't gone, you wouldn't have met Autumnkit. Yes, this was a much better thought. The image of the she-kit popped into his mind, and he felt his cheeks flush. She was so pretty...yet nice too. But shes not from my clan... He sighed. Would he ever even see her again?
He turned his head back around, and layed it upon his paws, letting out another, deep sigh. If anyone was to look into his eyes now, they would likely see the distress there.

"Is that destress I detect in your eyes?" the curious Moosekit asked. "Whats the matter. You've seemed down since you returned. Do your wounds hurt?" He asked and began to lick them.

"I'm fine." Scorpionkit muttered, although the kit's licks were soothing. Scorpionkit's tail flicked, and he felt another jolt. "It's just...Moosekit, please keep this quiet, ok? Just...don't tell anyone." And, without waiting for an answer, Scorpionkit prattled on.
"Its just...I met this Thunderclan kit. Her name was Autumnkit, and shes who I was playing with when the fox attacked us." He sighed again, and turned to look at the other kit. "She was really pretty." He added.
