JadeEyes in the Nursery

With her eyes filled with joy, A sleek black she-cat yelled. "Khansoul... kits!" Then she looked down to the few bodies below her. They were sooo cute!

Khansoul was circling around the nursery with an anxious yet irritated pace, at the call of his mate he rushed in to the nursery. "How many!?" He the orange warrior meowed looking at Jadeeyes and giving a content sigh, he was a father! He licked his mate's ear affectionately, and looked at the kits with a proud gleam on his yellowish eyes.

"There are three" she meowed proudly. "This is Virtuouskit, Shadowkit, and Tigerkit." SHe smiled.


(i dont remember the kits name u had, what was it?)

((It was Agatekit, but wait, mm.. I'm changing her into a tom and have no idea of what to call him O.o))

JadeEyes looked down at Virtuouskit. Her eyes beamed up back at her.

[Thornpaw]

Nightkit padded up, curiosity luminating her amber eyes. She eyed the new borns with curiosity a smile crept laced her figure. "Whats that?" Her young voice brimming with question. She had never seen a new born before, as she was to young to remember her status as a new born. She gaze drifted from the kits to JadeEyes, then to Kahnsoul, interest and knowing shown in her eyes.

((mind If I join for a moment?))

JadeEyes purred with laughter. "These are our young kits." She placed her tail on the small creature's nose. They are what you were not too long ago."

[Thornpaw]

"Naw, I didnt look like that. Did I?" She crouched low to inspect one of the kits and laughed and jumped back as it blincked its eyes. "They are...Kinda cute." She lay dwn next to the kit and licked his ear, a broad smile etching her maw.

"No you weren't" a cold voice meowed from the distant. Darkstep padded foward, gazing at the nice couple and his little kit. "Congratulations Khansoul and JadeEyes. They look very healthy" he purred, remembering the day when his kits were born. He brushed his tongue by Nightkit's dark head with a grin in his face.

"Wow, new kits!" Timberkit meowed in his high pitched voice. His tawny pelt was cammuflagged between the brambles of the medicine cat's den as he spied at everything that was going on. With a powerful leap, he rised from them to face the massive warriors around him and his sister. Flicking his tail in excitement and curiousity, the young kit faced the first new born he spotted (Virtuouskit). "Hello!" Timberkit shrieked.

[Thornpaw]

"Aw dad!" Nightkit yowled as she batted at Darkstep playfully as his tongue rasped across the top of her head. She laughed and rolled on her back, batting at his chin with all for tiny black paws. An almost exact replica of Darkstep.

Dancingwind slipped behind Darkstep, running her velvet tail along his back as she came to stand next to him. "Are the kits up to no good again?" She asked her mate playfully. "You know they take after you, a knack for getting themselves in trouble!" She licked his cheek With a hint of girlish delight. "Congratulations JadeEyes! They are beautiful!" She hummed with laughter, remembering when her kits were born. She Jabbed her paw out swiftly, catching Timberkit almost in mid leap. She then progressed by pinning him between her massive paws and giving him a wash of licks, ignoring his protests.

[Shiningstream]

"JadeEyes had kits?" an anxious meow came from outside the nursery. "Wait for me!" In another heartbeat, a dark tabby pelt pushed her way through the thicket, her bright green eyes wide and happy. Scorchpaw slowly edged forward, giving Shadowkit a tiny lick. Purring, "Oh JadeEyes, they're beautiful!" and to Khansoul, "You must be proud."

JadeEyes purred to teh cats around her. "They were just born and need a little time alone. I don't want to be rude... but..."she stammered thoughtfully,"It would be nice if a few at a time could be in here, not mening the queens and kits of course." she beamed at the warriors around her and licked Tigerkit on the head. "He will be a strong kit when he grows." her smile widened. "Here Shadowkit and Tigerkit, the toms and Virtuouskit, the female." Her face was broadened in a smile and she flicked her tail. She gave her chesta couple of quick licks and broght her rosy toungue to rasp over Shadowkit's head.


Virtuouskit blinked nervously at teh kit who had talked to her,"Hi..." she said quietly, blinking a few times,"I'm Virtuouskit.... and you are?" She bated her eyes lashes feverishly at teh kit next to her.

"Timberkit" the young kit replied, starlking foward to get a better view from Virtuoskit. He snarled in disgust once he scented the kit. "Eug, you don't smell nice!" he snapped and backened away to lick his lambent pink muzzle.

Darkstep smiled at Dancingwind's arrival and licked her cheek back. He frowned at Timberkit's comment as he wrapped his mate's body with his tabby tail.

Khansoul gave a warm look at his kits and his mate and then turned to Scorchpaw answering her question, "Of course, it's difficult for a father not to be proud." He meowed with a stern face but meant it half joking. He gave an edgy look at Timberkit for saying that about his kit, and he wrapped his bushy orange tail around Virtuoskit.

Virtuouskit looked angrily at the other kit,"Take that back, I will rip your fur off!" Her lower lip stuck out in anger. SHe backed up on her hanches ready to strike when her mother pushed her backwards. "Ooof!" she said.

JadeEyes looked at her kit,"That wasn't nice, apoligize, if Timberkit's parents don't mind him being rude, then that is their problem, but me, I mind." SHe looked sternly at her kit's face but couldn't help but surpress a smile at her.
