Lol, Pure luvs FMA and her fave character there is Hawkeye x3 I sorta like it, thought I have hardily seen da episodes... I like this black haired dude called... Mustang or somethin', but yeah, he's cool...

He didn't die. Here's what happend:
Edward and Al's mother died, and Ed and Al tried to bring her back by using alchemy. What they failed to remember was the law of equivalent exchange. If you want something, something of equal value must be given up. Ed lost his arm and a leg (hence the automail), while Al lost his entire body. Ed acted quickly, and managed to attach Al's soul to the closest suitable object: the suit of armor.

no i mean what happened after he got his body back cause Ed gave his body up SPOILER SPOILER the reason Ed was so short is because most of the nutrion he got was used to keep Al's body alive while it was at the gate
