Name: Fernstar
Do you honor?: Yes
Gender: She-cat
Age: 18 moons
Appearance:
Fernstar is a beautiful gray she-cat with deep green eyes. Her tail carries a black tip, and there is a black streak running up her head to between her ears. There are darker gray flecks on pelt and she has white underbelly fur. Her paw pads are black and her nose is pink.
Fernstar's eyes turn bright green when she is leading her Clan, in battle, or talking to StarClan.
Fernstar's tail has semi-long fur that keeps her warm during leafbare. Her teeth are super sharp to kill the mice scrambling around in ThunderClan territory. She has long, strong limbs to help her climb trees and chase after the rabbits that flee from their attackers in newleaf and greenleaf.
Fernstar is very lightweight and skinny for her age. Even though she has to carry out her duties as Clan leader, she finds time to be active. She is always moving around and doesn't want to sit still unless she has to.
The black stripe from her nose to between her ears has faded since she was little. When she was young, she had one front black paw which has faded since her parents died.
In the moonlight, Fernstar's pelt shines bright silvery-white from the white light that shines from the sky. The black stripe on her forehead is easily seen amongst the shining fur.
When on patrol, her green eyes blend with the plants around her, but Fernstar's heavy gray pelt shows like at patch of snow in greenleaf. She had this problem as a kit too, although she has learned to adapt to it since then.
Roleplay Example:
Fernstar led her Clan to the gathering that was being held tonight. She had much to tell, and the need for warriors in ThunderClan was obvious, but she didn't let that make her look weak. ThunderClan could defend itself if necessary.
ThunderClan crossed the log and met two other Clans that were already in the clearing on the island. Standing by the log to make sure all of ThunderClan got over safely, Fernstar heard a screech. Did a cat fall? she thought. It didn't look like a cat had fallen, but then, in the water, a gray head bobbed up and down. The cat obviously could not swim.
Fernstar jumped into the cold water. The water's coldness shocked Fernstar as it lapped at her dry fur, but she kept going. She kicked her back legs and swam until she reached the cat, who now smelled of ThunderClan. But all of my cats reached the other side! Fernstar thought.
Grabbing the cat's scruff, Fernstar reached a rock and pulled herself and the new cat up to rest. Catching her breath, Fernstar opened her eyes and took a good look at the cat before her. She had a gray pelt like Fernstar's, black paws, a black tail tip, black pads, a white underbelly, and a black stripe from her nose to between her ears.
The cat's eyes flickered open and Fernstar gasped. "A... Ashfur?" she asked. The amber eyes gave it away.
"But I thought you went to join StarClan!" Fernstar cried out.
The gray cat chuckled. "I had, young one, but StarClan has funny ways of telling certain warriors their destinies."
"Their destinies?" Fernstar repeated.
"Yes, Fernstar. Your father and I are still watching over you, but just remember; water will drown leaf."
Then the gray cat faded and dissapeared, leaving Fernstar by heself on the rock. Water will drown leaf?
Water will drown leaf.
Fernstar remembered the day she had lost her parents. She saw her father below the rouge. That was during her then ruiened warrior gathering, and the last time she ever saw him alive again.
Water will drown leaf.
Then her mother gained the same deather after attacking the rouge.
Water will drown leaf.
Now, Fernstar was to go back to the gathering, address her Clan, and return home, where water would someday drown leaf.
Water will drown leaf.
She left the rock, a place she would remember forever, where water would not drown leaf.
Clan:
Rank: Leader / Dep???
Breed: Regular Tabby, traces of Siamese
Personality:
Fernstar is nice and caring towards her Clan, but she has no patience for rogues or kittypets. She doesn't mind loners, but when she was made a warrior, a band of rogues came to the forest and launched attack on the Clans. That's where her mother and father both went to join StarClan. Loners do not bother her because they are almost like the Clan cats, except they fend for themselves, not a Clan. Most loners live further away from ThunderClan now than they used to anyway.
Fernstar will not tolerate cats that put a paw out of line in her Clan. The first time you mess up she won't harm you and probably won't punish you too much, but you best watch out the second time, if you decided to repeat the action.
Like any Clan leader, Fernstar apprentices her kits at six moons, but their training is speeded up a little so they become warriors faster, but still learn all the important skills. Fernstar gives each warrior an equal chance at being a mentor. Any cat that has not had one and deserves one will get an apprentice before those who either have already had one or do not deserve the ability to train another cat.
Fernstar is also very protective over ThunderClan's borders and territory. She will not let any cat of another Clan come into ThunderClan territory without a good excuse, except for traveling medicine cats or leaders.
Patrols are constantly out checking the borders and hunting parties are always checking the inward territory. Fernstar goes on as many patrols and hunting trips as she can in one day to make sure everything is secure within ThunderClan's territory.
History:
Kithood:
Fernkit was play-pouncing on her mother’s tail. The gray 'worm' wriggled and Fernkit pounced, but she leapt a little too far as she landed on the back of another white cat next to her. He jumped in fright but once he realized it was Fernkit, he calmed down.
"Watch it," he told her.
Fernkit's mother spat and wrapped her tail around her kit protectively. "He's just in a bad mood today," she told Fernkit.
With that, she led Fernkit into the nursery and wrapped her tail around the small body, which almost instantly drew into a deep sleep.
Apprentice:
She saw the mouse in the leaves crambling around and looking for food. Slowly, Fernpaw brought all of her weight onto her haunches and crept forward. The mouse suddenly stopped. Fernpaw stopped. She noticed the mouse had perked his ears to listen. Slowly, the mouse drew back to its search, and Fernpaw pounced. The mouse made a small squeak, which Fernpaw blamed on herself, but she had caught it all the same.
"Well done," her mentor praised her.
Warrior:
Fernpelt was on her way to her first gathering as a warrior. She felt excited until ThunderClan got into the clearing and her leader jumped onto the tree to announce her news. Then Fernpelt felt a jolt of nervousness rush through her while she waited for her leader's turn to speak.
"ThunderClan brings a new warrior to the gathering tonight," she heard her leader say. "Fernpelt, welcome to your first gathering as a warrior."
All eyes turned to Fernpelt, who suddenly felt overwhelmed with all the stares. Then all eyes turned the opposite direction. A single rouge stood above a silent cat, who was never to move again. Fernpelt's heart skipped a beat as she realized who it was. It was her father. No cat moved until Fernpelt's mother leapt on the approaching team of rouges and kittypets, only to reach the same sad death that Fernpelt's father had. She was a warrior, but no one knew.
Deputy:
Ferneplt stared in shock at the sight before her. Her leader, their leader, ThunderClan's leader was no more. Her eyes flickered closed and one more breath came, but then that was it. Fernpelt was to be Fernstar, ThunderClan's new leader. This is too much, she thought to herself. I can't do this alone! I'm not ready! I'm only 18 moons!
Outside of the den, a single star shone in the sky, followed by another. Together, Fernstar's mother and father were ready to watch over their daughter with her new responsibilities.

None
Used a different form, hope you don't mind. I'll change it if you do, though. Off to watch House, see ya guys later. ThunderClan is still in place of the Clans name, but once I know the Clan, I'll change them all.
