A Big Mistake

Kiba walked along a long path. He had no idea where it led to but he didnt care. He smelt crisp water and decided to take a long drink. The path led to a bush, Kiba easily pushed through it and opened a little pool of water. The brown tom walked to the pool and drank from it. All of a sudden the forest turned a light blue and the sun beamed on him lightly. "Wh...wh...whats going on here?!" Kiba yelled into the air.

“Not good.” She had watched him in the eerie silence. She knew perfectly well she shouldn’t be here, but now that she was clan less, why not exercise a little freedom. But as she watched the tom, her eyes widened as she saw him bend and take a drink from the crystal waters. Moonpool was a sacred place, medicine cats and leaders were the only ones allowed to drink from its pure essence. The young loner stepped through the bracken closer, but kept her presence well hidden. Practice had made her almost invisible. Perhaps he could be some sort of link to her past, either good or bad. Though on her own Freefall was old enough yet to be an apprentice, not yet reaching her tenth moon. He past was cloudy, all she knew was the dark of the forest, and the bitterness of being alone. This cat brought her a kind of hope, though she did not know what. A light soon flooded the clearing, Freefall had to squint to see the tom clearly. She hissed and leaped out beside him her orange pelt on end. “What are you doing?” She hissed quietly, eying the clearing and its dim waters. This place is forbidden, it is sacred to the clans.” She yowled, but the light grew brighter and she recoiled, her claws outstretched.

Kiba had woken from his dream. A she-cat was next to him. She seemed very angry. A clan cat? "Sacred eh? Sounds important." He wasnt so intimidated by this cat. Why should he? He licked his light brown fur. The dream still pondered in his mind. "Well anyway. I'm Kiba. By the smell of you...your a clan cat right?" She looked very young. Even though Kiba was young himself(17 Moons) She looked like an apprentice.

Freefall scoffed. “Clan cat? I think not. I was, but no longer, I am a loner.” Her clan experience had not been a good one, a great injustice had been done to her, her clan had abandoned her, leaving her broken, alone. She had no intention of ever joining another clan, but somewhere deep inside her, a feeling burned in her, she wanted to belong. They had stripped her of her clan name, now she was forced to walk the forests alone, nameless. She gave herself the name Freefall, to hide the shame of her lost name. “My name is Freefall.” She mumbled when she broke from her thoughts. “what were you thinking? Drinking from moon pool? Its insane!” She looked suddenly oddly curious. “Did you see anything, like, you know, a vision?” She felt strange asking these questions to a cats whom she had just learned his name but curiosity always won over.

"Vision? Nah...i saw a blue forest is all." Kiba yawned. "Look im getting pretty tired. So go where ever you go and ill go my way gotcha?" He began to pad away not caring whether he'd drinken from the pool or not. What's done is done.

Freefall stared at the cat as he padded away. She shook her head slowly. Toms, I will never understand them.

Kiba stopped for a moment. "I know what your thinking. Why would i just walk away like that." He whipped his head around. Kiba knew there was no clan cat named Freefall. He spy's on the clans all the time but has never heard the name 'Freefall'. "Tell me...Freefall... What is your real name?"
