Deadly Exploring

[Wolfsong]

A beautiful kit padded on, she had snuck away from camp. She knew her father thought that she couldn't go out by herself. Blindkit saw everything that moved on the ground in waves, sort of like sonar. But the moment she looked up, there was nothing but black, she was watching a ladybug crawing on a leaf. Then the bug flew off, Blindkit couldn't see it anymore. Then she felt something land on her, her only weakness... Blindkit screamed, and twisted but couldn't see anything. Then she realized it must have been where the ladybug have landed. She heard a sound many many foxlengths away.

Dragonflower padded through the forest, leaves crunch beneath. She scented the air and scented a cat nearby, soon she relized that it was a shadowclan cat. Dragonflower walked closer and closer until she relized that it was Blindkit. She asked softly, "What are you doing so far from camp?"

[Wolfsong]

Blindkit saw the shape of another cat approching, she grimaced. "I'm not far from camp." Great, now I'm gonna get the 'how can she know how far away from camp when she can't even see...' I hate it when cats do that to me and Hollykti!!

((Hollykit's deaf...I think if no ones playing her, I'm gonna adopt her. Bramble plays Cloudheart, who'd also blind, and is the mate of Cinderflame.))

"Good morning Blindkit, Dragonflower.." A voice came from behind. A black she-cat cam from behing, her white paws carrying her towards Dragonflower and the blind kit. "Dragonflower is right, Blindkit, you are a bit far from camp.."

[Wolfsong]

Blindkit turned to face all the cats, tears welling up in her clouded light green eyes, she had to make them understand that she could see. Unlike her father, Cinderflame had never understood how Blindkit could see.
"But I can see, I can see in waves that seem to be from grey to black. Racoonpaw told me about colors, that's how I know the waves are the colors. I can see movement, anything and everything on the ground, from a blade of grass blowing in the wind, to a bird on the ground until it takes off and leaves the ground." Blindkit swallowed, "I just can't see things in the air, from the moment they leave the ground, I can't see thier waves anymore. That's why I screamed, I was watching a ladybug when it flew off... Then it sort of landed on my fur and it startled me."

Dragonflower, feeling sad for the small blind kit, said, "Oh,....well you are just a kit and soon you will be an apprentice, im not trying to be mean Blindkit but it's the rules that kits have to stay in camp."

[{Snarky}]

A thin white she-cat padded over to the congregation. Her raspy, sandpaper voice called out to them.

"What's going on over here?"
Iceflower looked around at the warriors before her eyes settled on the kit. Her eyes seemed to soften for a second before they were cold again.

"Blindkit can take care of herself. She knows shes far from camp, she was only adventuring. Am I correct, Blindkit?"
She paused to lick a paw before turning her gaze back to Blindkit.

[Wolfsong]

Blindkit flicked her ears, she didn't think that this many cats would be out at this time. At least she thought it was a good time to be out. "Yes, "I know exactly how far away from camp I am, and I can smell my way back."

[{Snarky}]

Iceflower nodded as if settling the matter.

"Well, then I guess we can leave her to find her way back by herself."
She smiled at Blindkit, knowing she could sense it.

[Wolfsong]

Blindkit smiled, when she saw the waves of Iceflower move. But the other cats were standing so still, that she could barely make out thier outline. She didn't say anything about it, knowing that they had to move eventually.

Iceflower nodded, padding back to camp and trusting the other warriors to heed her advice. She may be older than most, but she knew her job and she knew she could trust the kit.

Darksoul wasn't very sure about leaving the kit alone, but she knew Blindkit was very independent. "Well... I guess they are right.. you may go back by yourself..." She said indiferently. "But next time you want to go alone, tell someone first were you're going, that way we know and wont have to worry."

[Wolfsong]

Blindkit nodded and bounded off in the correct direction of the camp, following her own scent trail back.
