"I didn't want you to worry that he revealed anything about ShadowClan, despite my coaxing." Nightclaw replied, hoping the Pantherpaw would know that she didn't mean it. "And you seem to take this apprentice for granted. He's more useful then he looks." Nightclaw added, hoping the Pantherpaw wouldn't take it the wrong way.

"I really didn't tell her anything." Pantherpaw muttered, his ears flattening against his head. The slight feeling before, the happiness he had felt at Nightclaw's compliment, had vanished. He now sighed, and glanced at Nightclaw, hearing her words. Well, it was true, at least. He knew that she didn't think him useless. She wasn't trying to insult him, he knew.

A hiss emerged from Dragonflower's mouth, which had sharp white teeth. Dragonflower turned to Patherpaw and meowed,"Well we will see what Fernstar says." She faced the WindClanner and said rudly," We will meet again." Dragonflower meowed under her breath as she started to walk away from the scene, and she beconed, with her tail, for Pantherpaw to follow, we'll meet again,... when my jaws are holding your limp body.

Pantherpaw hunched his large shoulders, and looked almost accusingly at Nightclaw. It was all her fault, after all! She shouldn't have been talking to him! Now he was going to get in huge trouble! But, as soon as these words formed in his head, he felt horribly guilty. She hadn't forced him to talk back. He could have gone to camp when he saw her, and alerted them. But he didn't realize what the problem was? Yes, the two had been talking, but they were still on their own sides, weren't they? He hadn' crossed the border.
With another sad grimace, the apprentice reluctantly followed Dragonflower, his ears dropping.

While Dragonflower padded towards camp her tail lashed angrilly. She muttered something under her breath about wasting time. Then she started to think out loud," Why was i so mean I'm normally nice, I guess." Then she stopped as she relized that she had spoken that out loud.

((this would have been as or right after pantherpaw and dragonflower were leaving.)) Nightclaw tried to look relieved as the two ShadowClan cats left, but she couldn't help feeling disappointed that her talk with Pantherpaw was over. She hadn't even said goodbye... I hope he doesn't get in too much trouble, Nightclaw worried. I'll see him again She told herself firmly. I just hope it's not in battle... ((ps, Hawkclaw, you totally freaked me out with that "when my jaws are holding you limp body thing" Good thinking! lol))

Pantherpaw, as they entered camp, suddenly came to the realization that he was letting his clanmates push him around..again! If he ever going to lead these cats, he had to have some dignity, some rebeliousness. So, when Dragonflower spoke out loud, a rebute automatically entered Pantherpaw's mind. And, instead of keeping it in, he let it out, saying the words out loud. "Yeah, well, you weren't very 'nice' out there! I was just talking to that cat, we didn't even cross our respective borders. Its not like I would be stupid enough to tell her anything about our clan, Dragonflower! Why couldn't you just leave well enough alone, mind your own business and all of that?" Pantherpaw could feel his temper growing. With a quiet snarl, he pushed passed Dragonflower, and further into camp.

"How are all of us suppossed to know that when it looks like you two are chatting," Dragonflower snarled after him. Then she decided that she might just let it go.
