A jet black figure emerged from the shadows and the she-cat scented the air. She smelled Riverclan nearby as she went on with her 'walk.' The she cat wanted a mate but she did not know who. All the cats in her clan seem to be merily together like birds of a feather except her. A large sigh escaped her parted jaws as she still thought and dreammed of having a mate. She would perfer to be a loyal cat to her clan but she seemmed to be an 'outsider' and Dragonflower would even go to the extream of having a mate from another clan,.............

Hawkeyes stealthily stocked his prey. The frog hopped and he crept forward. He was getting ready to silently pounce when a new scent came upon him. Dragonflower? Hawkeyes thought. He looked back at his prey, but it had gone when he had looked away.
Hawkeyes padded toward Dragonflower. She seemed to be deep in thought. "Hello," he meowed.

Dragonflower turned her head to look at Hawkeyes. She smiled at Hawkeyes. 'Would today be the day,' Dragonflower thought to her self. Inside, she was pretty nervous but half of her seemed ready. "Hello Hawkeyes, how are you today," Dragonflower asked.

"I'm fine, thanks. How are you? Is everything OK?" Hawkeyes was worried about Dragonflower. She seemed troubled. He hoped nothing was wrong.
Not many ShadowClan cats were friends with Dragonflower, but Hawkeyes couldn't tell why. She was beautiful, he decided as he watched the way her dark coat glittered under the sunshine, and she was a very skilled fighter! He didn't know her that well personally, but she seemed to be someone he would like.

I am alrigh,.. I guess," Dragonflower meowed softly. "I think every thing is 'o.k,'' Dragonflower meowed even though her eyes told every thing, and things weren't ok. She layed down and tucked her paws under her. A long heavy sigh escaped her mouth. She looked in to Hawkeye's eye and then she looked away.

Hawkeyes licked Dragonflower's shoulder for comfort and he laid down beside her. He felt the urge to protect her. He didn't know why it came or what to protect her from, but as he laid beside her, he felt as if he would do anything to keep her safe. When Hawkeyes looked into Dragonflower's eyes and saw her pain, he felt pain too. He wanted to help her, but he didn't know what to do. "It'll be OK." He purred, praying to StarClan, that Dragonflower's troubled thoughts would go away.

I have a shadowclan cat, but he's an apprentice and I'm guessing he's definately not a prospect lol.

Dragonflower was a little surprised when Hawkeyes layed next to her. She was glad but a little confused that some other cat accually layed next to her. "I don't know," Dragonflower said doutfully. She looked up at Hawkeyes and then she put her solid black head on his shoulder.

Eagleclaw pushed through the brambles and bushes at the marsh. Three voles hung from his jaws as he stepped through the sloshy water, his feet periodically getting caught in the mud. Then he pushed aside some cat-tails and continued walking, until he noticed someone there. There were two cats nearby, so he crouched down, and pushed aside the leaves blocking him. Dragonflower and Hawkeyes... laying next to eachother. He snorted before standing up and barging through.

Dragonflower heard a cat push through some weeds. She turned her head and she saw Eagleclaw. To her, he did not look like he was in a good mood like always. She dipped her head slightly to show some respect to the warrior.

Hawkclaw sighed at Dragonflower's reply. He had to be able to help her some way! When she put her head on him, he smiled. He realized that she made him happy. However hard it was to look into her eyes and see her pain, this made it worth it. "I want to help you." He told her. "What can I do to make you happy?" Hawkeyes stiffiened. He hadn't meant to say the last part out loud.
Hawkeyes heard someone barging through the undergrowth behind him. It was Eagleclaw. Hawkeyes bowed his head to warrior, but he didn't like the way Eagleclaw snorted at him and Dragonflower. Don't you dare saw anything mean to her! Hawkeyes surprised himself with the thought.
