Tali walked thrugh the forest, sighing at the warm breeze. She walked a way she never walked before and smelt a weird sent. "I wonder what that is.... cat sent?" She shrugged and carried on.
The sun came out, since she left on her journy when the moon shined, and she past the great grassland and saw a stream. "Another mingled sent?" She swam to the other bank and before she could shake herself off a cat sprang from the bushes and attacked Tali."YAWW!" She was pinned by some cat with the same mingled sent as the place she crossed.

Closer... Closer... The mouse was just within Ashpaw’s reach. He could hear its tiny whisper and little quaints as it nibbled on a thin and scrapped seed. Stalking on foward, he felt the soon-to-be-prey’s scent sweping over his nosetrills, making him impatient to attack. Just some more inches... Just some more inches.... The young apprentice’s claws were already unleashed with anticipation, threatenly over the plump of fur. One step more and the delicious creature would be all his. But a sudden scent hitted Ashpaw’s noseblands at full speed. Letting out a shriek of surprise, the mouse glimpsed his tabby pelt and camuflaged his white body with the snow that coated the leaves and ferns around him. Snorting in disgust, Ashpaw stood up relunctantly. Despite his failture hunting, he was still anxious to discover where that scent came from. With silent paws, he started to trudge up the slope to investigate the odd smell. It lead him to a small path back to the river besides his cozy Riverclan camp. Ashpaw’s emerald eyes were wide when they spotted a strange cat swimming on the river. Stheatly, he moved foward to get a better view. This cat wasn’t from Riverclan, or any other clan. It was, “A loner!” Ashpaw growled. When he spotted the she-cat got out of the cool water, he tackled her and pinned her to the ground, fury dominating his body. “What are you doing here filthy creature!” he retorted, his claws mightly grabbing the loner’s shoulders.

Tali struggled and then heard the cat's question. "I'm just wandering!" She growled. Her strong hindlegs pushed off the unknown creep. "Wait, you're not ThunderClan...."

"I would expect not!" Came a ragged, yet smooth, voice from the reedy growth. Silvertip, the tortoiseshell warrior, came trudging into the clearing beside Ashpaw. She gave the loner a deep hiss as she pushed the apprentice away. "Do you know of thunderClan that can swim?" More gently, she added, "What are you doing in our territory? We have every right to chase you out."

Palestar walked into veiw. She had been silently and secretly assessing her apprentice. "No, we're not ThunderClan," Palestar meowed. She wasn't going to get angery. If she got angery, her eyes would change, and she would lose control. "What are you doing here, in RiverClan territory?" Rouges and loners, in RiverClan territory, this seemed to be routine.

Tali looked at the three cats. She swollowed her fear and spoke. "I-I didn't mean to invade..... I was wandering and I-" She couldn't explain herself, she did nothing wrong! "Wait, i-is that what the mingled scent was? Borders?" She could understand it now, they had the same sent.

Ashpaw dashed into the front to face the loner with savage jaws and deathly claws. "If you didn't mean to come here, go!" he rasped, his olive eyes gleaming threatenly.

Tali only blinked blankly at the apprentice. "I won't do any harm!" she retorted. She lashed a furious tail at the cat then looked at the others. "Well, if your leader doesn't mind.... I would like to meet this RiverClan."

Ashpaw hotted in laughter. “What makes you think we’ll break the warrior code just because of someone as insignificant as you?” he retorded. Despite his answer, he glanced at Palestar, wondering what would her reply be. Seriously, she wouldn’t let a loner inside Riverclan, would she? Gazing side ways, Ashpaw narrowed his eyes threatenly at the loner when a question reached his mind. “You haven’t introduced yourself” he rasped. “I’m Ashpaw” he meowed coldly and lavashed his tabby tail side ways.

Tali sat down and licked her ruffled fur before speaking. "My name is Tali, nice to meet you, Ashpaw." She glanced at the two other warriors.

"I am Palestar. The leader of RiverClan. What can I tell you to help you understand the Clans better, because you obviously don't understand?"

Silvertip came to stand beside Palestar, her head bowed. "And I am Silvertip." The young warrior listened as Palestar began by the modest way of offering her knowledge of Clan ways in a greeting. "Wait... are you interested in joining a Clan?" The question wasn't rude, it was just curious.

Tali looked puzzled. "No, because I think all clans deserve peace, so I will not be rival of which." She stated. "If there is a clan that would allow me to be friends with all clans, then please point the direction." She sounded serious, she didn't like the rivalry, not at all. Then she had an idea. "As long as I'm able to be friends, I'm happy, isn't there a gathering for all the clans?" she asked. "Because I would like to go-" she was cut off by a nearby badger. *rustle* The bushes shook. "ARGH!" The badger yowled and headed toward Ashpaw. Before the evil creature could touch him, Tali tackled the beast and the badger dragged her into the water with him.

Ashpaw cuddled out of the water and swam back to earth. He saw the badger directing at Tali, who was still in the river. Lavishing his tail, he targeted the badger's chest and beckoned it. He tackled the nasty creature with all his might, making it collapse slightly to the floor. Before it stood up, the tabby apprentice helped Tali out of the river. "Hurry up, get out!" he growled, wondering what force made him help this "loner" out, but he did it with a glint in his gleaming emerald eyes, depite the urgency in them.

Tali snorted. "What, do you think I'm a kit?!" The apprentice aged loner snorted as she tackled the badger again, killing it in one massive swipe to the neck. Panting and bleeding, she looked up at the RiverClan cats. "It....wasn't....young....easy.....enough...to....kill..." She grabbed the scruff of the badger and looked at the cats. "Do RiverClanners eat badgers?"
