Glowing, bright saffron orbs shone through the dim shadows surrounding the Dark Trees. Thornshadow of ThunderClan was padding through the leaves that were littering the ground. The clearing was engulfed with silence as the moonlight danced gracefully over the grass and his dark russian blue coat. The tom paused for a second, looking around to make sure he was going the correct way. His gaze scanned the clearing, wondering if his clan brought any activity to him this new day.

Swiftcloud appeared behind him, jumping on his back and smiling happily. "Whatcha doin'?" she meowed like a young kit. She laughed at the shocked expression on his face.

Thornshadow gasped in astonishment at Swiftcloud's surprise and instantly turned to her with his claws unleashed. When his gaze met her kind and innocent eyes, he confined his claws back to their original place. The dark tom shrugged nonchalantly. "I'm just out for a walk," he responded. "With some hunting on the side. You?"

Swiftcloud smiled. "I don't know. I got bored so I decided to do some hunting." She had never been so open with any other cat in her life and it confused her how Thornshadow seemed to easily pull the answers from her without trying. Her ears laid flat against her head in embarrassment from talking so much and seeming like a kit.

Thornshadow curtly nodded in understandment. "I see" he meowed before heaving a long yawn while he stretched over the smooth ground. "So how is it going?" the tom started with his cold and sturdy voice, apparently eager to start a chat with Swiftcloud.

"I'm not sure. I haven't caught anything but you." She gave him a smile, her eyes sparkling. "Maybe if we team up we can catch some more?" Secretly she hoped he would say yes. She really like Thornshadow. He was different than all the other males she had ever been around. He didn't seem to just like her for her looks. But then again neither did some of the others. She sighed, the widened her eyes as she realized she had sighed aloud, lost in her thoughts. Heat crept up her neck to cover her face as she ducked her head.

"Well...." drawled a voice. "She was taking me back to the nursrey, untill she 'caught' you. And now she seems to be having a bit of 'fun'. " she paused. "But I can hunt too! Watch my killer moves!" Leafkit went into a crouch, her rump way too high. |

"Sure!" Thornshadow purred. We was astonished somebody like Swiftcloud would ask him that since most of Thunderclan rejected him because of his strange heritage. The tom grinned and winked at the pretty she-cat while he bowed courteously, venturing her to start the small hunting patrol. "Proceed" Thornshadow spoke in his icy cold voice and failing in the attempt in trying to soothen it down.

Swiftcloud nodded with a smile and turned to Leafkit. "The camp is just beyond those bushes...can I trust you to get there by yourself without trouble?" she asked with a knowing smile. "Please?"

Thornshadow smiled when he heard Swiftcloud speak. Her voice was kind and tender and was the sweetest voice he had ever heard. The tom bowed respectfully at Leafkit, motioning her to follow the pretty she-cat but also saluting her. He sat down with his tail curled around his ivory paws, his gaze staring at the scene.

Leafkit's tail dropped and dragged on the ground. "Yes, Swiftcloud...." so much for a day's fun. "Well. Wait. Some other kits and their mothers. I guess I'll go with them? I don't think you saw them..." her ears perked up. This was going to be fun. "Bye!" she meowed and she was off...to go on her own little adventure. [[Sorry for disturbing you.]] |

But Leafkit was going to have fun either way, and Swiftcloud trusted her not to get hurt. She turned to Thornshadow. "Ready?" she asked with a smile. |

"Sure!" Thornshadow purred. He grinned when he saw Swiftcloud's tallent and concern for kits. "Wow, you're good with small ones" his voice, strangely smooth, spoke. The tom headed to the forest, his eyes narrowed and his nosetrills attentive for prey. But once his gaze reached Swiftcloud, it twinkled in delight.((Neither me ^^ You can stay if you want ))
