"Its okay" Thornshadow replied quite indifferently, his gaze still glancing at the clearing where they had encountered the badger. He smiled humorlessly once he faced Swiftcloud, a grim expression in his eyes. "Are you alright?" the tom asked urgently.

She smiled at him.
"Ya. Our kits are acting up."
She looked at his face, her ears folded back, prepared for his reaction to her words. She took a few steps back to let him have some space. |

Thornshadow stared at Swiftcloud with disbelief, astonishment, but yet plea. "Kits...?" the tom mumbled, his front paws slipping in the shallow grass and his gaze wide. "You-- We're having... Kits?!"

Thornshadow glared with awe at Swiftcloud. "My... kits??" the tom gasped, his voice slowly trailling away. Kits?! How was that possible?! How could somebody like him have kits? His legs shaked with fear as he collapsed over Swiftcloud's paws, his jaw harshly hitting the floor. Relunctantly, Thornshadow managed to stand up again, thought his pale eyes were paler than usual which coldly but tenderly stared at the pretty she-cat. "Wow" his voice snapped as the dark tom tried to regain his composture.

In the mean time, Brightpaw and Cloverleaf appeared. "Hey you two!So what's up?" Cloverleaf purred. Brightpaw smiled sweetly at them. "Hi", she spoke. "Our names are Brightpaw snd Cloverleaf. Nice to meet you", she purred.

Thornshadow glared at the two Thunderclanners that had arrived with certain dismiss, but yet, appreciation. "Hello" the tom rasped, his voice rough and silent after the shook. "I'm Thornshadow and she is Swiftcloud. We are having kits" he snapped rapidly, not aware of he was saying and still to stunned to even dare to gaze at any of their faces. He felt quite unconfortable with those two annoying Thunderclanners here, Cloverleaf and Brightpaw, but the thought of having kits snapped him out of his hatred for them. ((Cloverleaf, not planning to offend you, but Thorny's just like that... Sorry and please don't take what he says personaly!  ))

Cloverleaf got the feeling that they are disturbing theit afair. " Oops. Sorry for disturbing you guys..... if we are", she spoke.
Brighleaf shook her head. "Really? Are we really disturbing them?' she asked, confused, whispering into her sister's ears. She doen't understand why her sister apologised to them. "Well, nice to meet you two anyway. I'm not mad you know, no offence!" she purred loudly.
Brightleaf tried to replaced her sister from blurting out what she had said. "Umm....... so, I heard that the both of you are couples", she talked, unsure.

Thornshadow glared at both she-cats awkwardly. "Right..." he meowed skeptaly and turned back to Swiftcloud, his gaze edgingly glancing at Cloverleaf and Brightleaf. "Wow Swiftcloud, I, I don't know what to say" the tom stuttered quietly so only she could hear. His golden eyes rapidly flooded in tears the ones he rapidly hid with his ivory paw.

Brightleaf and Cloverleaf looked at each other. "Think we should leave them alone now", Cloverleaf whispered to Brightleaf. " Right", she replied.
"Well, nice seeing the both of you but we have to go now. See ya guys at camp!" Brightleaf purred. Cloverleaf smiled at them and signaled to her sister. "Come on Brightleaf", she called out to her sister. They gave one more look at them and left for camp.

Thornshadow gave the two she-cats a puzzled and indignant look. "We're in the camp, can't you see we're standing in the warriors' den?" the tom snapped and heaved them a despiceful look. He hastily lashed his tail in farewell, eager to show his indifference to them but anxious to show how important his dear Swiftcloud and her kits were to him.

Brightleaf and Cloverleaf felt ashamed. "Oh yeah....... Well, we can sometimes be forgetful you know! " Brightleaf shouted at them, not angry but just to tell them.

Swiftcloud smiled at the young warrior and apprentice to make up for her mate's snapping. She looked at Thornshadow before she spoke.
"Sorry. He's a bit snappy sometimes,"
she purred humourously. "Maybe you guys should come back another time?"
She licked his shoulder in an effort to calm him down. Her fur was starting to stand up from the continued pain in her stomach, but she didn't show it. |

Brightleaf was great to have a clanner like her. "Yeah, sure!" she purred as she waved at them. Cloverleaf smiled and walked off with her sister.

Moonfrost just came into the warrior's den. Then she noticed that Swiftcloud and Thornshadow were there, so she padded out.
