Swiftcloud smiled. She walked up to him, slowing down to let her tail brush against his shoulder before she kept walking. "So...where to?" she asked sensually.

Thornshadow felt his coat boiling in embarrasment once Swiftcloud approached nearer him. He backened away slightly for he couldn't help feeling extremely timid towards her, something that haven't happened to him before. This she-cat had something that delighted him more than anybody else he had met. "Well, we could go to the honeysuckles to take a little hunt" the tom meowed, his voice soft and tender.

"Sounds good," she meowed happily. She began walking there, but suddenly stopped and yowled. She picked up her paw and turned it so she could look at it, seeing the white fur splashed with red and a small thorn sticking out of it. She meowed softly in pain.

"Oh no!" Thornshadow gasped. He rushed to Swiftcloud's paw and ducked his head. His jaws clasped softly over the thorn as they grabbed it out. His tongue brushed her paw, the blood that once covered it rapidly banishing. The dark tom closed his eyes as he tried to recall his mother's words when she taught him about herbs moons ago. "Cobwebs" his voice spoke as he picked up sticky ferns from some bushes. Thornshadow placed them over Swiftcloud's paw before clearing his throat. "This will avoid more bleeding" he meowed, his gaze stuck in her delightful eyes.

Swiftcloud watched in awe as Thornshadow raced around, doing everything in his power to help a small cut on her paw. When he looked into her eyes and gave her that small smile, she couldn't take it anymore. She leaned forward just a little bit and laid her nose against his softly. She gave him a quick lick on the cheek. "Thanks," she meowed, her voice shy but sincere. She looked in his eyes for any sign that what she had done had scared him. She didn't want to lose their friendship.

Thornshadow's gaze fixed on Swiftcloud's, hypnotized by her beauty and honesty. "You're welcome" he whispered back, strangely not feeling ashamed or afraid, but charmed. His eyes softly closed and then opened again when the pretty she-cat laid her muzzle over him and couldn't help smiling.

"So I guess this means things are gonna change, huh?" she asked softly. She kept her muzzle on his, letting his warmth flow through her. She was truly happy for the first time since she was an apprentice. She knew that whatever happened in the future, she couldn't lose this cat.

Thornshadow curtly nodded, his muzzle softly pressing Swiftcloud's cheek. "They will" he meowed in a tiny whisper as he felt waves of confort and benevolence coming from the pretty she-cat and from his once-torn heart the ones that were only directed to her.

Swiftcloud sighed and pulled back a little bit. "I have a feeling we won't get any hunting done. Back to camp?" she gave him a small smile, but she was breathing heavily from the emotional roller coaster.

Thornshadow's smile faded as quickly as it appeared. "No I'm afraid we won't" he muttered, standing up with a grim expression on his face. Great, he not only scared kits, but also she-cats! "We better return to the camp" the tom mumbled and flicked his tail, motioning Swiftcloud to follow.

Swiftcloud didn't move when Thornshadow stood to leave, and he looked back at her confused. She knitted her eyebrows at him.
"Did I say something?" she asked. "I didn't mean to make you upset, Thornshadow!"
She shook her head and gave a small embarrassed laugh.
"No matter how hard I try, I always find a way to mess stuff up, huh?"
She rose to her paws, but instead of moving anywhere she just shuffled her paws nervously, her eyes on the ground.

"No, no, its not that way" Thornshadow meowed as he rushed to help Swiftcloud in her pace. "I was just saying we better get back to the camp soon before the night falls" the tom explained silently, his gaze on Swiftcloud's eyes. He grinned sightly and recovered his composture. "Come on, lets return..." the dark warrior meowed when suddenly, a revolting scent reached his noseblands at full blast. His amber orbs scanned the clearing anxiously and Thornshadow couldn't hide a gasp of terror when a fox rose from the bushes.
((Kk, time for the action! Lol x3))

Swiftcoud snarled immediately, the fur on her back and neck standing up. Her claws unsheathed themselves. She took a step forward, put when she placed her paw on the ground her hiss of anger turned to pain as it started to bleed again, though not as heavily as before. Her eyes started to water from the intense pain, but she stood her ground. Both she and Thornshadow knew she couldn't fight, but Swiftcloud knew she had to try. She couldn't lose Thornshadow after she had just found him.

Thornshadow stood infront of Swiftcloud in the attempt to protect her, just when the badger unleashed his claws and bolted towards them, his snout up high and his tiny eyes narrowed. The dark tom darted on foward and summoned his claws as well, sinking them in the creature's chest. A defening shriek dominated the frightening scene just when the badger fainted over Thornshadow's paws. "Lets go before he wakes up!" the tom growled and softly pushed Swiftcloud out of the clearing.

Swiftcloud panted as they reached camp before hiding her face in Thornshadow's shoulder.
"Thank...so...much." she meowed, her voice muffled. She looked up at him, eyes sparkling with love for him and admiration at his warrior skills. Her swollen belly twitched, a result of kits moving, and she grimaced.
