Hawkclaw looked in to Rabbitpaws eyes and he felt as if he were on clouds. he sighed a heavy sigh before coming back to the real world. Then he almost foregot Moondance. "O.k Moondance, I guess you lead," Hawkclaw meowed.

Moondance led the two cats through the forest weaving through bushes and trees until she scented a mouse. She pimpointed the location and exactly how to get to it without making it run in her head. Her paws felt as if they were on clouds as she made her way around an oak tree and curved her paws gently springing on them as she leaped apon the mouse and broke its neck with a crack.

Hawkclaw was amazed with how Moondance killed and found her prey with being blind. His mouth fell open and when he relized it he quickly shut it. Then he meowed," Good job."

Moondance felt angry. He was talking to her like she was a kit or an apprentice! She had much more expreience then him. SHe bit her lip angrily and sarcaticlly said, "Thank you." before going after a vole.

Hawkclaw's pelt began to bristle and his neck fur was rising. "I was only congragulating you," he snarled. Then he hissed," I'm just trying to be nice and earn friends, cause the only friends that I have in Wind Clan is Rabbitpaw, Falconflight and I thought that you could be my friend but i guess not!"

Moondance turned around. 'You're like everyone else I ever knew. You think I'm useless! I can't do anything because I can't see! But you know what? I learned to forget cats like you!" she said snarling, "Surprising!! Huh?" she said pacing back and forth, her tail flicking, immensed in pure anger.

"Well sorry," Hawkclaw hissed. now his tail began to lash back and forth. "I said good job because you caught something the first second we were out here," hawkclaw said, his voice letting up a little. "It takes me a while before I even hear anything let alone catching something. I'm just trying to be nice!"

"No! You were shocked that a blind thing like me could catch anything because I can't see. You didnt' think I was strong enough! Well let me tell you, " she hissed angrily, "If I was to weak, then how do you think I survived my father nearly killing me? Escaping him? And finding my way here?!?" she looked him in the eye and said, "Nobody every gives Moondance credit! Ever!" she said.

"I will tell you for the last time, I was only being nice!" Hawkclaw said his voice getting edgy. "I gave you credit!" Hawkclaw looked over at Rabbitpaw.

Moondance was angry for one of the first times, "I'm happier when people ignore me so do not blame you're apprentice!"

"What do you mean?" Hawkclaw asked. "I did not blame Rabbitpaw, I did not even say a word to her." Hawkclaw hissed. Then he snarled," I'm too busy waisting my time fighting with you!" After he said that he poked Moondance in the chest roughly with his paw.

With the cat poking him in the chest, she decided it was time for her to go, to not fight. She frowned at the cat and spoke the words, "This is a great display in front of your apprentice. I am dissappointed." she began to walk and said, "Rabbitpaw, if you would like to come with me back to camp you are more than welcome.

Rabbitpaw had watched the whole scene with wide, confused eyes. She shook, from anger, disbelief, or sadness she didn't know. When the conversation turned to her, she jumped, afraid of being the object of such anger. She rose to her paws, taking a few moments to gather control before turning to Moondance, having decided she needed to talk to Hawkclaw.
"Thank you, Moondance, but I think I should talk with Hawkclaw. I'll come find you later."
The words were cautious and polite, with emphasis on 'talk', and she nodded respectfully to the warrior before flicking her tail over Moondance's shoulder and padding over to Hawkclaw. Tilting her head and sitting, she silently asked him what all that was about. |

Hawkclaw was still lashing his tail. He started to pace back in forth. Hawkclaw looked at Rabbitpaw, his eyes blazing. " Stupid blind she cat," Hawkclaw hissed. Hawkclaw unsheathed his claws and started to claw the cool soft dirt.
